A week or so ago, I shared a post about a local man named Corey. Corey was murdered on November 9th, and he leaves behind a fiance and small children. When I learned about this family losing such an important piece so close to the Holidays, my heart literally broke. I can’t even imagine the pain, anger, grief and confusion these folks are going through right now. 

I decided that I was going to do something to help. No, I cannot bring Corey back to his loving family. I wish I had a magic wand that was capable of such feats. What I can do, with the help of some friends and some generous sponsors, is make sure that Christmas is not something they have to worry about this year. They need time to heal, pick up the pieces, and learn how to live their “new normal”.

These “keys” are absolutely beautiful. Amanda sent a couple of silver leaves, which symbolize nature. (Tia is very into nature and healthy living.) Also included were a Round Wishing Stone in Green Quartz which symbolizes Healing, another Round Wishing Stone in Blue Lace Agate to symbolize Strength, and a delicate silver Angel Wing, to remind her that Corey is always, always with her.

These keys or charms slide right onto the leather bracelet. This leather is very soft and supple, making it super-comfortable for everyday wear.
