Do you have any hard-core gamers in your life? I sure do. My husband is basically a 38 year old “big kid”, and he loves nothing more than playing a few video games to unwind after a long day. His favorites tend to be games like Assassin’s Creed, Final Fantasy, and HALO. 

We have another gamer in the house, and it might not be who you’d expect. Sure, we ALL love gaming. My teen enjoys playing on occasion, and so does my youngest son. But the biggest gamer in the house? It would HAVE to be my soon-to-be 6 year old daughter. 

Sophie lives, eats, and breathes gaming. She is constantly playing games on her tablets, laptop, the XBOX 360, or the Wii. (What she doesn’t know is that Mommy just won an XBOX ONE with Kinect!) Anyway, Sophie loves watching gaming videos on YouTube, too. Yes, this child will seriously sit and watch other people play video games for hours on end. She actually prefers this to things you’d expect a 5 year old girl to enjoy, like cartoons and princess movies.

So, naturally, we will be giving loads of gaming gifts this Christmas. GameStop is our go-to place for games, and they have all of the hottest gifts for the gamers in your life. My husband is actually drooling over this PS4 STAR WARS Battlefront 500GB Bundle. Can’t say I blame him. This is at the top of many wish lists, from what I hear!  

Since I just won an XBOX ONE, I am going to pick up Halo 5: Guardians for my husband. He loves the HALO franchise, and I’m sure this will make his Christmas bright. Now if only I could get him to play after the kiddos go to bed….They don’t need to hear Daddy screaming and cussing at the TV for hours. That’s a different post entirely, though. 

Of course the kiddos have games they’d love to get, too! We don’t have a PS4, but this LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack would be a fantastic gift for anyone who does. My kids absolutely LOVE LEGO games, and it seems they’re always playing LEGO Indiana Jones or LEGO Batman. 

Speaking of LEGO games, GameStop has the awesome, action-packed LEGO Jurassic World, too! My kids are very excited about this one! Xander is a little scared of dinosaurs, extinct or not, so playing this may just help him squash those fears!
