Euro Reaches New High – Greek Bailout Dominates Exchange Rates
Greece is the word!
The Pound saw fresh 7 year highs against the Euro today – the highest since pre recession times! The market tipped over the 1.35 level, hitting a day high of 1.3540! The market is finding the potential Greek bailout incredibly hard to digest, with analysts not yet ready to bank on one outcome or the other.
It is very hard to predict the exact impact on the market, as there are cases for both Euro strength and weakness should the bailout be agreed. the minutes are released overnight, so markets may be in a very different position at the opening of trading tomorrow.
