Nokia 230 Dual SIM Feature Phone Launched in India for Rs. 3,869

Microsoft is on a spree of launching multiple devices in the Indian market, especially in the budget segment. The latest one to enter the lot is Nokia 230 Dual SIM, that is said to be a ‘premium quality internet-enabled feature phone’.

At the global launch of the device, the company unveiled two variants of the device, one with single SIM support, and the other one with Dual SIM support. Microsoft has launched the latter in India, that seems a good decision, for a price of Rs. 3,869.

The phone is available to buy on the company’s official online store for the said price. The main highlight of the device is its dual SIM capability, which is quite a lot famous among the budget users. The Nokia 230 Dual SIM features a 2 MP camera both on the front as well as on the back of the device, and both the cameras are accompanied by a single LED flash module. Besides pretty decent features, the phone also looks quite premium with a sandblasted aluminium cover.

The dual SIM phone supports micro-SIM cards in both the slots, which is limited to GPRS/EDGE connectivity. As far as OS is concerned, the device runs on the Nokia Series 30+ OS, and is quite capable for all the basic tasks. The front of the device sports a 2.8-inch QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) LCD display, and an alpha-numeric keypad right below the display.

The company has included a 1200 mAh battery pack, that is promised to give up to 23 hours of talktime with a standby time of up to 22 days on the dual SIM variant. While weighing 92 grams, the phone has a size of 124.6 x 53.4 x 10.9mm. Besides support for memory cards of up to 32 GB, the Nokia 230 Dual SIM comes connectivity features that include EDGE, Bluetooth v3.0, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a micro-USB port.

The device will be available in black and white colour options, from all the offline and online channels. As of now, it is available on Microsoft’s official online store, where you can purchase it for the said price tag of Rs. 3,869.
