The Truth About American Public Education and Teacher Unions

The truth is that education is not to learn, but is an indoctrination program for the young designed to create obedient workers, but not citizens who understand law, government, or economics.  It works against creating critical thinkers who realize the criminality of government and can engage in mass democratic movements and reign in elite manipulations of the media.  The democracy we have is nothing more than the shadow cast over our country by corporate power that controls the major decisions regarding issues of war, foreign policy and domestic policy.

It is not in the power elites’ interest to share power with the masses, so we get a media that lies and manipulates, a government that would rather execute people who expose the truths and elites that profit from a warfare/welfare police state.

If a teacher decided to teach the truth about our government and its concentrations of political and economic power, they would be fired.  Thus, we have an educational system that serves the purpose of enforcing ignorance, obedience and blind and uncritical support of government. 

People never recognize the absurdities, contradictions and cognitive dissonance regarding the simultaneous holding of opposing views our education system creates and indoctrinates people into accepting as being perfectly rational.

This is why our country is in the shape it is and the elite walk away with all the money.  The elite have a great ability to get the ignorant to eat their young, divide opposition and keep people fighting amongst themselves.  It is the domestic version of the old tried and true imperial agenda to divide and conquor the opposition.

And, Americans fall for it every time!  Which is how the elite can keep getting the masses to march off and fight their wars.
