It’s important to keep perspective: Our “politicians” are as corrupt as they can be — but so is the pentagon leadership, the FBI leadership, the CIA leadership and DHS leadership. I don’t know how these agencies were compromised at the very top but it is absolutely clear that they have been compromised. My guess is that blackmail, bribes and threats did the trick.

A military coup would be one of the few methods that could restore integrity to the republic. But the entire top level of rotten leadership would have to be scraped off first. Otherwise, we’d just be replacing one cancer with another.
