In a riveting interview on TruNews Radio, Wednesday, private investigator Doug Hagmann said high-level, reliable sources told him the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is preparing for “massive civil war” in America.
“We have problems . . . The federal government is preparing for civil uprising,” he added, “so every time you hear about troop movements, every time you hear about movements of military equipment, the militarization of the police, the buying of the ammunition, all of this is . . . they (DHS) are preparing for a massive uprising.”
Hagmann goes on to say that his sources tell him the concerns of the DHS stem from a collapse of the U.S. dollar and the hyperinflation a collapse in the value of the world’s primary reserve currency implies to a nation of 311 million Americans, who, for the significant portion of the population, is armed.

Through his sources, Hagmann confirmed Rickards’ ongoing thesis of a fear of a U.S. dollar collapse at the hands of the Chinese (U.S. treasury bond holders of approximately $1 trillion) and, possibly, the Russians (threatening to launch a gold-backed ruble as an attractive alternative to the U.S. dollar) in retaliation for aggressive U.S. foreign policy initiatives against China’s and Russia’s strategic allies Iran and Syria.
“The one source that we have I’ve known since 1979,” Hagmann continued. “He started out as a patrol officer and currently he is now working for a federal agency under the umbrella of the Department of Homeland Security; he’s in a position to know what policies are being initiated, what policies are being planned at this point, and he’s telling us right now—look, what you’re seeing is just the tip of the iceberg. We are preparing, we, meaning the government, we are preparing for a massive civil war in this country.”
“There’s no hyperbole here,” he added, echoing Trends Research Institute’s Founder Gerald Celente’s forecast of last year. Celente expects a collapse of the U.S. dollar and riots in America some time this year.
Since Celente’s ‘Civil War’ prediction of last year, executive orders NDAA and National Defense Resources Preparedness were signed into law by President Obama, which are both politically damaging actions taken by a sitting president.
And most recently, requests made by the DHS for the procurement of 450 million rounds of hollow-point ammunition only fuels speculation of an upcoming tragic event expected on American soil.
These major events, as shocking to the American people as they are, have taken place during an election year.
Escalating preparatory activities by the executive branch and DHS throughout the last decade—from the Patriot Act, to countless executive orders drafted to suspend (or strip) American civil liberties “are just the beginning” of the nightmare to come, Hagmann said.
He added, “It’s going to get so much worse toward the election, and I’m not even sure we’re going to have an election in this country. It’s going to be that bad, and this, as well, is coming from my sources. But one source in particular said, ‘look, you don’t understand how bad it is.’ This stuff is real; these people, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), they are ready to fight the American people.”
TruNews‘ Wiles asked Hagmann: who does the DHS expect to fight, in particular? Another North versus South, the Yankees against the Confederates? Hagmann stated the situation is far worse than a struggle between any two factions within the U.S.; it’s an anticipated nationwide emergency event centered on the nation’s currency.
“What they [DHS] are expecting, and again, this is according to my sources, what they’re expecting is the un-sustainability of the American dollar,” Hagmann said. “And we know for a fact that we can no longer service our debt. All the property and technology that has been built and created using our money is ours due to the fact that it was our money that paid for it.
The Military and the Military Industrial Complex is always under Civilian control. Our money pays their wages and our money pays for all technology. It belongs to the people.
The Management (President & Congress) that we hired to oversee the operations of our nation have committed crimes against our organization (The United States of American, i.e., our Government) and our Treasury. The crimes are as follows: Treason, embezzlement, instituting policies which bankrupted the government, developing departments (Homeland Security) within our government to declare war against the owners of the government i.e., the people and many other crimes of which you and past administrations will be held legally liable for these and other crimes against the people of the United States and the Government that our Founding Fathers developed and instituted for our prosperity.

Obama did not get us here (not to say he is much better). Bush and company got us here. Who created Homeland Security in the first place? If this is true, the only amusing thing about it will be the majority of cushie living republicans will be in the same boat as the rest of the people, and believe me they will not like it.
If it is true that our government has turned against us and is preparing to unleash widespread violence against us as the economy crumbles and people rebel out of desperation, then I suggest that employment by the federal government will become as dangerous as being considered and enemy of the state by those who occupy the seats of power. We all live within the borders of the USA and if government knows where rebels live, the rebels certainly will know where government employees and their families live. Where one works is usually not a secret from neighbors, after all.
It would be much better if someone like Ron Paul gained the Presidency and undid the tremendous amount of subjugation that controls and plunders us. Peacefully altering our present unworkable political and economic arrangements is certainly preferable to being forced to fight to restore freedom; I am not personally optimistic that the peaceful path will be allowed by those who now rule us, however.
It is this debt based monetary system that has created all the debt that is strangling the economy as they create checking account balances out of thin air and loan these to the public, effectively creating debt slavery. The huge transfer of wealth that takes place under this system is destroying the middle class. Government interference in the once free markets effectively creates winners and losers, and the winners are those who lobby for laws that favor themselves at the expense of the public. Socialism and fascism don’t work for the majority; they simply are versions of slavery.
The best solution to the oncoming problem is to get that idiot out of the whitehouse before we reach that problem stage. He has done more to suppress business and personal liberty than any preceeding president in the past. I am neither Republican nor a Democrat, just a constitutional conservative that would really like to see this situation resolved and electing another rich east coast liberal under the Republican party is not the answer.
All I can say to this is remember Katrina, when the police were out looting and shooting. Do these idiots think that the government employees are going to fight all of us? Everything will collapse, civil unrest will include the federal employees when their money isn’t worth 2¢ either. The only way for them to prevent this is to strike first before the collapse of the dollar. But then what? All these govies are going to be good little lap dog while the country caves in around them? I don’t think so.

The problem as I see it is in the semantics of words, for example we have the Department of Homeland Security, but has anyone questioned the meaning of ‘Homeland’? If you go with your gut feeling you will realize that ‘Homeland’ does not represent the citizens of America but appears to represent the government in Washington DC (which, by the way is a corporation and not a State in America),I guess that Washington DC must be a foreign entity that has put it’s self above the interests of the rest of the States in America, therefore we must formulate a Department of American Citizens Security to protect our personal sovereign self’s from all foreign tyrannical oppression!

I don’t know when this story was put out, but some of it is wrong. I am a currency investor and it’s true that things are to change in a very big way, and some for the good, but China is not our enemy this time, it’s our own government. There is about to be a global currency re-value of most all currencies of the world at one time, never been done before and will never happen again. Obama and his thugs are trying to stop it and China has come to our aid 3 times and told O to either do it or else. The federal reserve has been taken down and we are about to go back one the gold standard and the money families are fighting to stop it. There is a battle that going on right now that you know nothing about. The bad thing is that after the re-value, our money will start to de-value, some say a lot, If and when that starts to happen, then there could be civil unrest.
