US Hypocrisy and Absurdity Will Lead to Collapse

As the US threatens Assad in hopes of deterring the deployment of chemical weapons in a civil war that has been co-opted by imported Sunni radicals who have clearly demonstrated they will continue to engage in wholesale ethnic cleansing and genocidal campaigns, the Shiites, Alawites, Druze and Christians have to wonder if chemical weapons are the only thing standing between them and death at the hands of imported Sunni jihadists that are being supported by the US, NATO, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

The US has threatened serious consequences against the Syrian government for defending itself against largely foreign invaders who have been supplied and funded by the same foreign powers.  Yet, the US had given Saddam WMDs to use against his own people in Iraq and against the people of Iran who were defending themselves from the aggression of Iraq’s former dictator. 

During that time the US supported Saddam, the CIA covered for Saddam and his deployment of chemical weapons against the Iraqi people by stating that the Iraqis who were killed died as the result of an Iranian attack.  The CIA went on to further state that there may have been a few Iraqis killed by Saddam, but this was the unintentional result of small villages and their inhabitants being caught in the middle of battles involving chemical munitions.  This lie was kept in place until the US government decided it needed justifications for the overthrow of the Iraqi regime.  At that point the US government finally admitted Saddam used chemical weapons against his own people of the variety the West supplied Saddam for use against the Iranian people during his illegal invasion.

As the US funds and supports foreign opposition in Syria while demanding Assad cease all hostilities, the true extent of US hypocrisy is once again kept from the American people, a hypocrisy that extends to many levels. 

As the US demands civility and servility for the purpose of its hegemonic ambitions, it also claims the right to first-use of nuclear weapons.  According to US military doctrine the US can deploy first-strike nuclear attacks against non-nuclear nations to force a cessation of hostilities on terms favorable to the US.  In the case of Iran, it has threatened first-use to nuclear weapons to destroy a peaceful nuclear energy program because any nuclear energy program brings with it the ability to enrich uranium to weapon’s grade if a government so chooses to do so.  This is commonly referred to as breakout capacity.

Yet, the CIA has determined Iran has no nuclear weapons ambitions and has complied with the IAEA by allowing it unfettered access and monitoring while this very organization has allowed itself to be infiltrated by the CIA who has used it as a cover for the purpose of assassinating Iranian nuclear scientists and carrying out acts of sabotage. 

As an American, I can assure the world that the US government has changed little from the entity that had engaged in the mass extermination of the continent’s native inhabitants.  It has changed little from the entity that slaughtered 600,000 of its own citizens to prevent lawful secession of separatist states.  While the US was only one-third bigger than Syria, its government killed twenty times the number of Americans that Syria has had die in its civil war. 

The US government has changed little from the government that starved and killed many thousands in its prison camps during that civil war.  The US government’s morality has changed little from when the Union Army marched through the South to loot and burn every home, farm and city to the ground leaving hundreds of thousands of women and children homeless, starving and freezing in the American wilderness.  Its military has changed little from the one that raped women across the South and engaged in summary executions of non-combatants.  The extent of US savagery is evidenced by its ability to kill 600,000 Americans given the crude weapons of that day.  If this is what the US government is willing to do to its own people, none of whom were foreign invaders, imagine what it is willing to do to foreign nations to get its way as its crimes are hidden from an ignorant and propagandized American public by a complicit media establishment owned and controlled by the banking and military-industrial complex interests. 

Before Americans jump on the US government’s bandwagon for war with Iran, they ought to question why both the US media and government remained silent while the West provided Saddam with biological and chemical weapons.  They ought to question why Saddam was a favored client of the US government.  For Americans who believe the US is a benign hegemon, the lack of any protest for both Saddam’s slaughter of civilians and his aggressive war against Iran ought to be conspicuous in its absence.  Unfortunately, Americans never seem to question their government or demand explanations for its glaring hypocrisies and inconsistencies.

Iran needs to tell the US it will back Syria if Syria decides to deploy chemical weapons.  Russia and China need to tell the US that if it moves on Iran, they will move on Saudi Arabia and Bahrain and assist Iran in closing the Persian Gulf.  Iran needs to back Syria and convince Iraqis to help it provide assistance to Bahraini Shiites.  Much of this hostility could be avoided if Saudi Arabia would end its destabilization of Syria immediately and if Israel would stop its atomization of  the Palestinian land and people. While Zionist media will attempt to drag the US into war, when faced with the prospect of having to initiate WWIII over Saudi aggression in Syria, it is assured the US will back down if China and Russia issue credible threats. For either of them to not threaten the US and support Iran would be to encourage US aggression and domination. Such a display would show Americans that the world is closing ranks against the US government.  Such a scenario would bring the pressure of the American people to bear against warmongering politicians like John McCain, Hillary Clinton, Joe Leiberman, Lindsey Graham, Rick Santorum and others of the necon ilk.    

While Israel claims it fears the Iranian nuclear program, the truth is it fears Iran’s ability to defend itself.  Israel now sits on nuclear plants, nuclear weapons and chemical weapons stockpiles that threaten its own existence.  It is ironic that the threat to Israel’s existence now comes from that war-like state’s own weapons and  propaganda, and their government’s threats to attack other nations.  Israel knows its crimes have destroyed any chance at a two-state solution.  Many now ponder what level of barbarity Israel will sink to once there is no Palestinian land left for Palestinian people on which to live.  Meanwhile, the world watches in horrific curiosity as Israel continues to hurt and isolate itself.

Many of the world’s problems have and will continue to occur because The US has gotten out of control.   The American people are near waging revolution.  The banking crisis has destroyed the American worker, but it is their fault for trusting a government that has become an enemy of justice, a thief of the peoples’ wealth and an enemy to liberty.  The costs are coming due for supporting a government that has waged war on the world for the benefit of the elite.  But, the demise of the US is not without risk as there is nothing more dangerous and destabilizing than an empire that is beginning to unwind.

Because of the destabilizing effect caused by a weakened US and its attempts to double down on maintaining control, the Syrian army needs to begin arming itself with chemical weapons and tell the US and Saudi Arabia it will wage total war in the same manner the US government waged total war on the southern Confederacy.  Lincoln, the president during the US Civil War, is hailed as a hero and statesman for carrying out a war of extermination to ensure a central government maintained absolute power over sovereign states. These individual sovereign states that joined the union, that eventually became the United States, should have been allowed to withdraw from the Union after they had decided the federal government had become harmful to the peoples’ liberty.  But, Lincoln resolved the issue of secession through barbarity instead of through politics.  In doing so, he committed treason by waging war against states that sought to resolve the issue of states’ rights through a political process.   Lincoln crushed the political process to ensure he could resort to violence to win his argument.

So, why is it when any other political leader in the world seeks to resort to a level of war that represents only a tiny fraction of the level of slaughter engaged in by ole Honest Abe, these foreign leaders are demonized as the most vile and atrocious tyrants the world has ever seen while Lincoln is hailed as a hero and statesman?  It was Lincoln’s centralization of power and his destruction of the US Constitution that placed the US on its path towards seeking global domination through the creation of a corporate-government axis.  But, while such a paradigm creates advantages for the perpetrator of global crimes, it sows the seeds for its eventual demise.  All empires throughout history have proven that in the end imperial hegemony only benefits the political elite at the expense of the peoples’ wealth and blood.  The US government has tried every method to hide the costs to the American people while it continues to wildly run up a bill that will eventually come due and require payment in full. 

Not only is the US sowing foreign ill will that will require a reckoning, but its foreign malevolence has now metastasized into domestic oppression.  The American people have avoided this oppression by deciding to follow the path of National Socialism to extend their day of reckoning and postpone its attendant unpleasantries.  But, this fascist partnership between government and corporations continues to create pathologies that manifest themselves in ways that continue to build global resistance to US dominance.  While the US seems happy to win battles, those who have been driven by necessity to align themselves against US dominance will win the war.  Eventually, the whole world will begin to balance itself against the US and Israel.  This balancing includes the radical Sunnis in Gulf states, the BRICS nations, the Non-Aligned Movement, Europe’s displeasure with Israel and the eventual realization by the world that the US has become an exploitative and destabilizing parasitic force that seeks to suck the blood of all the nations of the world and humanity itself. 

As we watch the NATO shrink, we see Europe intent on dealing with its economic problems and working towards maintaining its euro as a unifying currency.  This is a situation that is sure to bring the dollar into greater competition with the euro.  While the world waits to see what will happen, other nations have begun to deal in gold or seek direct exchange between currencies while avoiding the petrol dollar as the world’s reserve currency.  None of this bodes well for the US.  Venezuela’s President Hugo Chavez has warned the US that the age of empires is coming to an end.  The US would be wise in realizing this truth. 

The cost of dominating the world is being bore by a diminishing middle class and while it is profitable to the elite, it has become a losing proposition for the people.  As the US government seems oblivious to the harm it has caused Americans, the nation is increasingly teetering on the brink of rebellion with more and more states threatening secession.  When the time does come for the disintegration of US power, it may come as unexpectedly and quickly as did the fall of the Soviet empire and due to many of the same reasons.
