Was a Nuclear Weapon Just Detonated In China? (Video)
A huge explosion rocked the northern Chinese port city of Tianjin on Wednesday, state media reported.
Initial reports said hundreds were wounded, although the exact number of casualties has yet to be determined. According to the official Chinese Seismological Network, two blasts occurred in the city, a first explosion equivalent to the detonation of 3 tons of TNT, and a second, much larger explosion 30 seconds later which was equivalent to a detonation of about 21 tons of TNT.
The blast was caused by explosive material in a container at a terminal in Binhai Dist, according to Business Insider.

The official Xinhua news agency said a deafening bang was heard as plumes of flame lit up the sky, scattering dust dozens of meters into the air.

Central Television said on its website no deaths had been reported. It said there had been two explosions within 30 seconds of each other and that about 100 fire trucks had been sent to the scene. Xinhua said fireballs from an initial blast had ignited further explosions in premises nearby.
Video footage of the explosion showed it causing a massive mushroom cloud and a quake that could be felt up to six miles away. source

Don’t know enough about Nukes to say, but I’m pretty sure they do a lot more damage than that. Must be from another source, or drastically reduced in potency.

(that we know of) ever deployed by the US. That’s tons, not kilotons.
Widespread flash, blast, and EMP depend on the bomb going off in the air.
Conventional explosives can obviously produce the effects seen here.

That depends on that size of the nuke (size matter is this case also), 9/11 was nuked but didn’t take out the whole city.
Do you have any idea what a Nuke would do? Those buildings silhouetted in the foreground would be flattened by a Nuke blast that big.

Nuclear explosions are not magic. They are not all-powerful. The Davy Crockett warhead had an explosive force of 20,000 pounds of TNT. Less than half of the estimated force of this blast.
Modern nuclear weapons have deuterium and tritium chemically bonded to uranium. There is minimal uranium in the bomb. The energy comes mostly from fusion.
If you are shielded from the neutron burst and the gamma ray flash, and from the shock wave of the explosion, and if you are not hit by flying debris, you will not be as dead as a doornail.
But like I said, plain old chemical explosions happen.

If the explosion is high in the atmosphere, a surge of electricity flows to the ground.
If the explosion is at ground level, that surge is grounded out in the immediate vicinity.

The blast most certainly could have been a fission nuke. Compare it to the 911 nuke effects. Toasted cars, broken glass blast effects and other damage certainly point towards a small nuke. Its also possible that nuke was in a container that was headed to the US or other country. The blast was either accidental or sabotage. A lot needs to be considered in this case.
What we see is exactly what would happen if a suitcase size nuke was inside a shipping container. Was that shipping container in transit to a US port? What happened was some kind of accident or was it detonated as a warning or sabotage.
I highly doubt this was nuclear in origin… Plus it would leave a radiation signature behind as well, and you can’t cover that up… It was most likely a Reagan era space based weapons platform that uses high powered lasers. The bottom line was to say… Stop devaluing your currency and intentionally driving down our markets or next time something larger and more deadly may get hit…

The real question is, was the devastating explosion in China caused by the US using Scalar Interferometry technology — longitudal energy waves that converge like microwaves and fry everything in their computer-directed target zones.
