The 4 Hallelujahs In Revelation 19 Herald The Bloodiest War In Human History And It’s Led By Jesus Christ

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

The event that the Bible calls “that day” has now arrived, and Jesus is going to spill the blood of every, single one of His enemies. No prisoners will be taken, nor mercy will be given. It’s time to fight.

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.” Revelation 19:11 (KJV)

One of the most action-packed chapters in all the book of Revelation is chapter 19. In it we are told about the marriage of the Lamb in Heaven (v 7), the marriage supper of the Lamb on Earth (v 8), the conclusion of the Judgement Seat of Christ (v 7), and then the war that will finally end all wars, the Battle of Armageddon in verse 11.

“The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.” Exodus 15:3 (KJV)

Leading the charge into the bloodiest battle of all time will be none other than the sweet, little “baby Jesus” so often depicted in Roman Catholic art as a metro-sexual hippie flashing the “peace sign”. As we shall soon see, the real Jesus is nothing of the kind. The real Jesus is “man of war”

The 4 hallelujahs signal the start of the most destructive battle ever imaginable

In the first 6 verses of chapter 19, we see the word “Alleluia” mentioned 4 times. It is composed of two Hebrew words which mean”praise be to Jehovah”. In English we say “Hallelujah” which while spelled differently means exactly the same thing. These 4 Hallelujahs in context are doing much more than simply praising the LORD, they are telling us exactly what God is planning on accomplishing by waging this battle against Satan who at this time is ruling on the Earth. So let’s take a look at each of them to see what’s going on

  1. REDEMPTION: In the first Hallelujah, God speaks of redeeming His people through His salvation Jesus Christ. He redeemed His Church through His shed blood, and at the Second Coming will redeem His chosen people, the Jews. “And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:” Revelation 19:1 (KJV)
  2. REVENGE: Right about now the heads of Laodicean Christians across are globe are exploding because I used the word “revenge” in connection with God. But that’s exactly what the Battle of Armageddon is all about. Antichrist and his billions of followers have turned against God and are daring Him to “make a move”, and this is exactly what is about to happen. In view here is the destruction of “great whore” we saw earlier in chapters 17 and 18, otherwise known as the Roman Catholic Vatican church state. “For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.” Revelation 19:2 (KJV)
  3. REVERENCE: In our day Christians have made the God of the Bible into some kind of effeminate “love only” type of God who accepts everyone and judges no one. The God of the Bible is love, for sure, but He is also a “man of war” who hates and destroys anything and everything that rises up against Him. In verse 3 and 4, we see God being worshipped and praised because He is executing judgment. This is a teaching unknown to modern day apostates like Beth Moore, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Paula White, Joel Osteen and all the rest. “And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.” Revelation 19:3-5 (KJV)
  4. REIGN: Finally we have the last Hallelujah where the LORD is reigning not only in Heaven, but also on Earth for a literal, actual, physical and visible 1,000 years talked about in detail in chapter 20. “And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.” Revelation 19:6 (KJV)

In verses 7-9 we read about the marriage of the Lamb, which takes place in Heaven, and the marriage supper of the Lamb which takes place on Earth. In between those two things is the Judgment Seat of Christ which is how and where the “Lamb’s wife” has “made herself ready”. At the Judgment Seat of Christ, where Christians are judged based on how they lived or did not live their lives for Jesus Christ after they got saved.

We stand firmly on the doctrine of Eternal Security, because the Bible teaches that Christians in the Church Age can never lose their salvation, and that is true. But far from being a “license to sin”, eternal security if abused becomes a bill that is paid after the Christian goes to Heaven to be with the Lord Jesus. How is it paid? In a loss of your inheritance, not your salvation.

“Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” 1 Corinthians 3:13-15 (KJV)

Many people get saved and become born again, but don’t ever give their lives over to the Lord. He never takes away our free will, and you can certainly do that. Don’t think for a moment that there are not levels in Heaven where people who did more for the Lord receive greater reward, because there absolutely is. Paul clearly teaches about that “loss of reward” without losing your salvation.

The sweet “baby Jesus” is now revealed as a “man of war” who goes and does just that

Starting in verse 11, it’s now showtime, Jesus King of Heaven is about to usher in His Earthly Kingdom, and as the saying goes, “there will be blood”. Lots of it. The Battle of Armageddon at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is one of the major themes of the entire Bible.

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.” Revelation 19:11-13 (KJV)

King Jesus saddles up the horses, and look who is riding behind Him, it’s us! At the Pretribulation Rapture, Jesus comes for His Church. At The Second Coming, Jesus comes with His Church who are now like the “angels in Heaven” who cannot ever die again, and riding on horses that can never stumble. We know these verses are referencing Church Age saints because we are wearing “fine linen, white and clean”.

“And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.” Revelation 19:14 (KJV)

“And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.” Revelation 19:8 (KJV)

What happens next is also described in Matthew 24, and it is the deadliest and most bloody war that will ever be fought. This is the war that the prophet Joel talked about, that Zechariah talked about, that Amos, Isaiah, Obadiah, Habakkuk and all the others said would come. The event that the Bible calls “that day” has now arrived, and Jesus is going to spill the blood of every, single one of His enemies. No prisoners will be taken, nor mercy will be given. It’s time to fight.

“And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” Revelation 19:15,16 (KJV)

This brings us to a verse that is also talked about in Matthew, and really stumps a lot of people. Here it is:

“For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.” Matthew 24:27,28 (KJV)

For years I puzzled over this one, it didn’t seem to make any sense either by itself or in the context of Matthew 24. But this “mystery” is quickly cleared up by simply reading Revelation 19 and believing what you find there.

“And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.” Revelation 19:17,18 (KJV)

Matthew’s “eagles” are the same as the “fowls that fly” in Revelation 19, see how easy that was? And it shows you something else as well. It shows yet another glorious proof for the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church. In Revelation 19, as we have already shown you, the Church is in Heaven preparing to return with Jesus. So that would render it an impossibility for the Church to also be on the Earth waiting to be “raptured” at the Second Coming. (dropping the mic).

Sorry Posties, you lose again.

Hope this study was a blessing to you, and that it causes you to compare Scripture with Scripture, rightly dividing as you go. When the Holy Spirit wrote the Bible, He wrote it with proper divisions that run from cover to cover. When you read and study the Bible the same way, it all make sense and harmonizes perfectly.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)

Just how many resurrections do you see in Revelations? I see two. 1) Those at his coming 1 Cor 15:23 2) The lost after the 1000 yr reign.
