HAPPY NEW YEAR! In 2019, Now The End Begins Will Stand On The Front Lines To Continue Bringing You Christian News And Bible Teaching

Should the Lord tarry, and leave us here for yet another year, let me give you a few things to think about.

If you’re like me, you’re hoping that at the stroke of midnight tonight, the Lord will come for His Bride in the Pretribulation Rapture. Honestly, what would you rather be doing than meeting the Lord in the air at midnight? As the world celebrates a new year tonight, I am thinking of the One who makes everything new.

“And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” Revelation 21:5 (KJV)

Should the Lord tarry, and leave us here for yet another year, let me give you a few things to think about. One of the main features of NTEB is to present you with news, from a biblical and Christian perspective, that shows you just how far along the timeline we really are. Sometimes these stories are hard to read, but you need to be aware of what’s really going on.

Stories like the 11-year old drag queen, dancing for gay men who threw dollar bills at him. Did that make you sad when you read it, did it make you mad, what did you feel? Ultimately, my hope is that news like this will make you want to go out and witness to the people God has put in your path, and share the life saving and life changing gospel of Jesus Christ. The real world is an ugly place, but if someone is lost, the world that is coming next is unimaginably terrifying.

A woman just made a donation a few hours ago, and what she said in her comment inspired me to write this quick article you’re reading now. This is what she said:

Wow, that really hit me hard when I thought about what she said. NTEB was raised up to be a light in the gathering darkness, equipping the Body of Christ with news, doctrinally-sound Bible teaching and sounding the call for laborers in the harvest field. When was the last time you witnessed to someone you met during your day? Do you put gospel tracts in your pocket when you leave the house?

At church on Sunday, my pastor preached a short but urgent message on doing more for the Lord in 2019 than we did in 2018. And not simply quantity, but in the quality of our efforts. It was really convicting to me, and I want to pass that conviction along to you. We are not all called to be missionaries, pastors or preachers, but we are all called to be witnesses of the gospel of the grace of God.

“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24 (KJV)
