We live in a crazy world where political correctness rules and critical thinking is taboo. College campuses are overrun by wusses who need protected space from “micro-aggressions.” It was not so in my youth, especially growing up with wise guys in New Jersey. Inconvenient observations were then known as cutting through the BS. Pretensions and stupidity were not tolerated.

he lack of  inconvenient observations is hurting all, but especially our youth. They grow up in a cocoon where they are fed State propaganda in their State schools and where they are taught that they are “special.” When they leave this make-believe space they are unprepared for work or the reality that they are not special. Everyone does not get trophies and performance does matter.
