Oil appears to be sinking under the sands on beaches (PICS)
Ormond Beach Florida
Waiting for a low tide and we can see the oil and the effect that is happening to the beaches.
The oil is being forced down under the sands of the beaches. swindon 1 accompanied me on this Evening.
If you stand on this sand it becomes as Jello under your feet. It is a bit like quicksand…
Instead of the water filtering through the sands to sea level quickly, it slowly runs off over the sand and oil like streams.
The designs that are made by the oil / Corexit mix is quite strange and artful but defiantly not natural in nature.
and here, it looks like brain gray matter !
But there is also yellow fluid in the waters, This I assume is the Corexit !

You can see the oil as it constitutes back to oil form from the white milky water look as it came ashore.

some of the oil surfaces as much stays under the sands.
Who knows the toxic mix from all the chemicals that were already in the Gulf !

About as far as we could see each way down the beach.
Finding a dead Ghost Crab, I broke it open to see black, oil ? How could this creature breath after this built up in his lungs ?
Another Ghost Crab did not move as we approached it and walk up to swindon 1 and she was already 2 feet from it.
Strange behavior for this animal and we did not have another seashore to take it to. : (
Patches of some form of sea life washed ashore in clumps along the beach.
It is upsetting to see these things and we can do nothing to fix these things or creatures, and there are many more subtle signs on the beaches and elsewhere as well as the human health toll that is happening that we are hearing about locally. It has been a progression of death and damage and still rising so we know it is far from over. This may well be the beginning of much more if many Scientist are correct !

Yep, that’s what it looks like. The sand on the beach is like a bog, because oil is in the sand. We saw oil in the sand and water, and what looks like orange dispersant. Now we have some idea why people are getting sick around here.

We need to get a Blacklightb Bulb for a few flashlights and go out at night and see the unseen ! I know it will be overwhelming evidents. I will try Radio Shack. Have you a entrenchment tool too ?
Yes I do. I work the next couple of days, through Friday this week. I might be able to do it Friday night….I have the jars for the larger water samples I need. I can send it to a lab in Mobile for analysis. Water and sand.
