Plants are Showing Us There Is Something in The Rain. (Pictures)

October 11, 2010

Ormond Beach Florida.

I think many of us have been following the damage from the rains have been causing to the plant life since the Gulf Crisis.

I have been taking photos of the plants in the area since our first rains that were very late this year in coming for some reason.

The rains were not as a usual this year or in as much as normal.

They came very late and were not as heavy for the most part.

Many plants seem to have holes eaten through them as others have brown spots and still others have white discolorations and often a white powdery substance is around the effected areas.

It seems as an acid has landed on them in a rain and if the chemical part stays on the leave after the rain it will burn through or leave a burn mark.

I noticed new growth of leaves can be distorted or say deformed as to something in the rains.

The edges of the leaves will wither but not always die as many will be burned away leaving the rest of the leaf on the branch.

It does not seem to affect all plants but the numbers are increasing as the rains continued.

I thought that the thicker the wax coating on plant leaves may protect them…

but I have been find leaves with what appeared to be thick coats still being burned so…

even the most heartiest of leaves/plants can be subject to this assault.

Often the plant leaves will droop, not having the rigidity as before,

or they will fold up on each end a bit or more.

Often new growth will show deformities days after a rain.

I have known that the leaves closest to the ground have a higher rate of burns.

If they are touching the ground they will suffer a more severe burn as you can see in the photos.

We know the National Geographics is one team of scientist taking samples of soil on the East Coast from Hurricane EARL,

but I have heard nothing to the Rains that came in and Flooded Texas….

from TWO Hurricanes and Tropical Storms this year taken rains far inland from the Gulf.

During the summer there were video reports coming in from many States to Oil Rain

and that would have included whatever else is in the rain.

Also I have seen videos of other Countries such as The UK Countries including

Germany getting acid rains that were doing the same things to the leaves in their Countries this summer.

All this is making me think of future crops and if the amounts doing this to the leaves….

what is it doing soaking into the grounds as the plants and trees pickup the water that is laden with these contaminates ?

What will the future of these plants that we depend on be.

Will Earths soil alkaline/minerals be able neutralize this substance/substance’s. ??

Will they succumb in time to this bombardment of the un-natural ?

Crude Oil has many chemicals in it and there is also the Corexit to consider as to the possible culprit here or even combinations of many.

To add in more unknowns such as the pollutants and waist crop residues that have already created a mammoth dead zone in the Gulf,

What chemical reactions does this bring forth to be in the array of possibilities

and understanding the risk to all in the Gulf and on Earth including Humans ?

Below are just a few of the pictures I have gathered this summer and yes, I have too many to post.

This is just a sampling of the area that I live within a mile from my home.

A good place to find out about whats in the rain is to go here…

Latest lab results…. chsl.webs.com/testresults.htm

They have done a great job as to looking into the rain a publishing the results.

I have not seen or heard of a link that does this in Our Government and reporting the findings on State or Federal levels.

Remember that rains goes everywhere not just the Gulf areas.

On land, in lakes, on crops, into drinking waters,

it is used for all life as we know it.

The harder the rain the more that comes down as in rate that it was picked up

from the source by evaporation into clouds to precipitation from clouds.

As some plants are being affected it will only be natural to assume that some living things of the Earth will also be.

How many and how much they will be changed is what the future holds for all of us to see.

Also at the bottom are a few photo’s of my bike when I stopped …

from going into a Aug. shower and just a few large raindrops fell onto us both. “bike/me”

I would strongly suggest people stay out of the rains at all times, even far inland.

I am sorry if pictures do not appear, I have been back here many times to re-link them and they are there again then in days they are gone again ? Something is not connecting them on the site. It takes and hour to do each time to have them disappear again and again is a bummer and time consuming in vain !
