Wake up and smell a cup of coffee: It can reduce blood pressure.
 
We are spending billions each year on coffee addiction world wide. I was amazed to find out that some researchers in Sweden found out that woman who drank five or six cups a day were protecting themselves from an aggressive form of breast cancer. 

 
What about those risks to health? So, I thought about writing its pros and cons.

 
Drinking just one cup of coffee a day could reduce blood pressure. A single cup can also boost brain power. Those who drank coffee before performed better in mental tests. Nitric oxide in it can relax artery walls as well.
 
More that this much coffee could help prevent the buildup of proteins in the brain that have been linked to memory loss. And drinking coffee before exercise may enhance your performance as well.
 
Three cups a day can reduce risk of ovarian cancer by an fifth. Men who drink this much coffee have a 40 percent less chance of developing gallstones.More than three cups ca help provide maximum benefits from disease-combating antioxidants in coffee.
 
Five or six cups can reduce risk of liver damage and skin cancers by 31 percent. The antioxidants in coffee may protect skin cells.
 
On the contrary, there are many cons to drinking coffee. The lack of sleep and some insomnia is the first one. Its not a good thing for pregnant ladies as coffee increases high levels of stress hormones, cortisol and adrenaline.
 
More than three or four cups can result in heart attacks, high blood pressure, rheumatoid arthritis and joint pain. It is also a risk factor for osteoporosis.
 
Dehydration is another problem as coffee causes excess fluid to be lost from the body. It also cause s th e body to release hormones that are linked ti anxiety and stress.
 
Coffee can be a good thing for your health if you use it properly. I prefer a cup or two a day. More than that can affect your health.
