Stanley Cup Themed Dentistry Discounts Encourages New Patients To Flock To Local Denstist

The Stanley Cup is the biggest prize in the hockey world. Every team tries to strive to get this massive trophy, and become the best of the hockey world. While many hockey fans will be cheering and supporting their favorite team, some people who are looking for reduced dentist fees will be watching.

Dr. Lewis and Associates is planning on having a fun little promotion going on in regards to the Stanley Cup. For every tooth that is lost during the conference finals and the big game, dental patients will receive a substantial discount on sedation dentistry services.

“What is hockey known for”, said Dr. Lewis. “It is known for having players lose their teeth because they were hit in the face with a hockey puck. While it is unfortunate, I figured why not make a little game out of it.”

The promotion will keep track of the injury reports issued by the NHL, and see how many teeth had been knocked out during these games. When the event is over Dr. Lewis and Associates will offer free dental checkups for adults and children, and discounts on services such as fillings, implants, and braces.

“In tough economic times people tend to not go to the dentist as they don’t have the money”, said marketing director for Dr. Lewis and Associates, Karen Conrad. “I think this is a great way to make sure that they get the care they need, the oral checkups they need without requiring them to shell out tons of money.”

In addition to discounted services, Dr. Lewis and Associates is planning on having several hockey themed events. Events include photo sessions with several NHL players, a chance to see the Stanley Cup before it goes to the winning team, and several hockey games held right in the parking lot of the dental practice.

“We will be playing with soft sticks and hockey pucks”, explained Dr. Lewis. “I don’t want any of my new or past patients losing their teeth. That would be bad, but then again what better place to have dental problems than the parking lot of a dentist.”

The hockey themed discounts and events have drawn a considerable interest in Dr. Lewis and Associates. In the weeks since the announcement, 25 new patients have signed up for appointments, with another 50 coming in for consultations.

“This was a great idea”, said Dr. Lewis. “It allows me to connect to hockey fans, and really help out people!”
