The 4-7-8 Breathing Exercise is utterly simple, takes almost no time. First, you must breathe quietly through your nose for 4 seconds. Then hold your breath for 7 seconds. Exhale through your mouth for 8 seconds. During this time, the slow heart rate calms your body and mind.
