How Dems & Media Now Intend To Protect Obamacare

The 7 million figure is rubbish. Most everyone who has spent even a moderate amount of time monitoring the Obamacare monster knows this. And yet, that is the number now being used as a sign of “success” for the failed healthcare law. The president declared it so, and the administration’s still adoring media cohorts are repeating that message over and over again, fully expecting the American public to nod its collective head and be done with it. And if Republicans dare to take back the Senate in 2014, and then dare further to try and dismantle some or all of the Obamacare law, they will face considerable push back from Democrats and the media that is certain to leave many Republicans cowering from a real (and much needed) fight.

Here is an all too accurate Twitter quote from Philip Klein of the Washington Examiner that reveals the liberal-progressive media strategy that will be utilized to now fight any chance of reform or repeal of Obamacare:

“Whatever the final #, any GOP health care proposal will now have to grapple with millions of Obamacare beneficiaries.”

Klein is absolutely right. He has in fact, been right on the progression of Obamacare for years now. (Check out his work on the subject.)

Any Republican who mounts a real threat against Obamacare will face an onslaught of media-driven counter-attacks detailing the “millions” saved by the healthcare law. Stories will be hastily pushed out there of single mothers with children who, if not for Obamacare, would surely have perished if not for the great and mighty Obamacare.

And Republicans, enough of them, are sure to cower at the prospect of such an attack.
