American workers oppose mass immigration because it takes their jobs

Today, in excess of 14 million Americans remain jobless with another 7 million working less than 20 hours per week.  A whopping 46.9 million Americans subsist on food stamps because they cannot secure a job. Unemployment benefits continue through the roof for jobless Americans.

Yet, the U.S. Congress imports no less than 100,000 green card holding immigrants into this country every 30 days.  That totals 1.2 million people annually from foreign countries that can take any job they choose away from Americans.

Mass immigration reduces jobs available to American workers and suppresses wages

No matter how you cut it, our own government undermines American workers of every race, creed and color.  It undermines our poorest and least educated. It takes the most mundane of jobs like taxi driver, janitor, roofer, landscaper and motel maid, and gives those jobs to immigrants—legal and illegal.

Immigration does nothing to bring down the unemployment and welfare rolls of Americans.

It affects college graduates, high school graduates and high school dropouts.  It cuts wages and takes jobs, but Congress continues on a path to undermine American workers.
