DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. October 8, 2016, 8:46 PM (IDT)

Donald Trump, under pressure to step down as Republican presidential candidate over lewd comments about women picked up on an open mike 11 years ago, said Saturday night that there is “zero chance I’ll quit.” In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, he said: “I never, ever give up.” He also said his campaign is not in crisis, “The support I am getting is unbelievable, because Hillary Clinton is a horribly flawed candidate.”

The scandal over the Trump 2005 tape, for which he apologized Friday night, broke out 48 hours before he faces Clinton in their second presidential debate Sunday night.

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.

This came from his campaign and was authorized by him almost as a certainty.
Brilliant strategic move, just took the wind out of Hills sails for the debate.
It makes him look like a “bad boy” on the one hand and then he can push for sympathy with the apology for it on the other.
Remember women voted to put Bill Clinton in office TWICE.
