DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. February 23, 2017, 8:49 AM (IDT)

US Vice President Mike Pence condemned this week’s vandalism of a Jewish cemetery in Missouri as well as anti-Semitism in general during his visit to the site on Wednesday. During a speech at the cemetery in Saint Louis and another one that he gave later at a factory in the city, Pence repeated President Donald Trump’s denunciation of the latest wave of anti-Semitism. In a symbolic gesture, the vice president put on work gloves and helped workers at the Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery collect pieces of smashed headstones.

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.
