DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. March 9, 2017, 5:04 PM (IDT)

Washington supports the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) in Syria despite Turkey’s concerns, the US State Department stated Thursday in response to Turkish threats to attack the Kurdish militia if it does not leave Manbij. Ankara declared the militia a terrorist group and voiced rage over its inclusion in US plans for a Raqqa offensive. The Department spokesman Mark Toner commended the Kurds’ battlefield successes: “I think they’ve liberated some 6,000 kilometers and more than 100 villages from ISIS around Raqqa.”

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.

Turkey and the Kurds both live in the Levant. It is the US as always who is the invader for Greater Israel when all is said and done. If not for Iran and Hezbollah Israel would have already annexed Syria and Lebanon after the US destroyed Iraq for the sake of Israel and their owners Rothschilds. Learn some facts before posting half truths about the Mid East if not outright lies.
