Security concerns dominate last push before UK election

Prime Minister Theresa May said potential terrorists must be deported to their own countries and if “human rights gets in the way of doing it, we must change the law.”  She also promised stricter anti-terror measures.  Opposition leader, Jeremy Corbyn retorted: “Instead of fighting terror, the prime minister wants to fight democracy.”  The London Bridge attack Saturday night turned the focus of the UK election campaign for the June 8 election away from BREXIT to security concerns. Opposition spokesmen reminded May that she was Home Secretary for six years and therefore accountable for any shortcomings in the system for fighting terror.
