Fukushima: Calls For The End Of Nuclear Power From Former Japanese PM Koizumi (Videos)

(N.Morgan) The Fukushima situation is getting worse by the hour. The radiation is quickly becoming a global nightmare for our environment.  Former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi said Japan should abandon nuclear power. “I’m calling for zero nuclear power,” he said in a speech in Nagoya. The 2011 earthquake and tsunami, which triggered a nuclear crisis at Tokyo Electric Power Co.’s Fukushima No. 1 plant, should be taken as an opportunity to build a resource-recycling society without nuclear power, he said on Tuesday.

Nothing is costlier than nuclear power, Koizumi said. The consequences of a nuclear accident are enormous, and it takes 40 to 50 years to decommission a nuclear reactor, he said. The popular former leader called on the government of current Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to decide early to give up nuclear power. Japan can survive without nuclear power, Koizumi said. “The sooner, the better,” he added. If the government and the ruling Liberal Democratic Party adopt the policy of abandoning nuclear power, the move will create an encouraging atmosphere as all opposition parties are for the move, he said.

Too late Japan! Nothing will save you anymore! SO DIE PEDO COUNTRY!

A very silly and unhelpful posting Templar! I have watched, with growing despair, your rantings against an innocent population. It hasn’t occurred to you the problem reactors are AMERICAN in design. The disaster we face is global, not just Japanese. That the Japanese government should have acted more quickly and involved the global community, is now obvious. But, crying over spilt milk is solving nothing. This crisis will have profound effects within Japanese society. I cannot remember when a domestic issue so divided the average Japanese person from their government and leaders. If Japan survives this crisis, Japanese society will have forever changed, for the better I woud believe.

Finally, as a member of the St.Clair family, one of the few remaining genuine Templar families, we would find it extremely difficult to accept you as a brother in arms, given your attitudes. Please don’t continue to besmirch my family’s name… change your user name to something more appropriate. I’m sure my fellow users could make several useful suggestions!

Really you would forsake a brother that fights loli hentai and anime porn for the love of God and Jesus?

YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND FRIEND?

Japan is a PEDO COUNTRY! PROVE ME WRONG after you google loli hentai! Not to mention their sick movies, porn and whore houses!

PLEASE RESEARCH JAPAN’S DARKSIDE before you accuse me and bitch at me with anything!

Japan shall die! That is my deal with God. Nothing you can do about it! I showed all the anime and what it offers! there is nothing else to it!

Over the years what’s struck me most about nuclear power is that there’s an industry with very hazardous waste that’s been going on for a long time, while, at the same time, having no good plan for dealing with radioactive waste. (Waste containers buried developing leaks over time, or rods sitting around in pools, waiting for an answer, etc.) You’d think that, given the billions in yesterday’s dollars spent on nuclear power plants, that, had that money gone to things like clean coal, we’d not have these problems. Nuclear power was always a bad idea, due to no good waste plans. I asked an environmental engineer about this once, and he said they anticipated some cleanup and waste technology would catch up to the problem in the future. Yeah.

This is terribly tragic, radiation poisoning insidious, causing horrible diseases and one can’t even see it, and it’s not just Japan’s problem: it’s coming to a can of tuna, a rain shower on your vegetables and grasslands, or a beach near you. I thought the BP oil spill horrifying, by the way 60% of that oil and dispersant still down below in the deep water, huge plumes of it, but this Fukushima is much worse!
