Students pose in lingerie for Putin

The cult of personality is in high gear in Russia. A calendar was made by journalism students praising Putin while wearing sexy lingerie. It was organized by someone from the “patriotic” Russian news media. Allegedly the models are expressing their opinion.

It’s kinda funny, since having the wrong opinion can get you tossed through a window in Moscow. However, on the other hand, I get it that Putin is sincerely revered by people in Russia for directing a restoration of “law and order” while they were going through some rather chaotic times.

But now, a calendar was put together by journalism students to counter the first one.

Fellow journalism students quickly created their own online calendar with pictures of themselves with their mouths plastered over to protest Putin’s policies, according to Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty (RFE/RL). This one titled “Vladimir Vladimirovich, We Have A Few Questions.”
