FIRST LOOK: CFPB REPORT — A new Competitive Enterprise Institute report out Wednesday argues that “many people will be hurt – not helped- by new restrictions on lending imposed by the federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The report argues the new rules would reduce credit by $11 billion.
