Today, our YAL chapter hosted a tabling event inside the cafeteria. Our members handed out political surveys for students to fill out. After completing the surveys, the students were placed on a chart showing their political preferences and politicians they share similar beliefs with. Every student who completed the survey received a button and a copy of the US Constitution. Later in the day, we held a meeting entitled “What Liberty Means to You.” Club members and potential future members watched a short film called, “The Conversation,” and discussed political ideas and beliefs afterwards. The meeting concluded with a summary of what liberty means to Young Americans for Liberty and the extension of an invitation to potential members to come back next week.
