A long over due look into the lives of the parents who have to come to such desperate decisions, all in the hopes of saving their children’s’ lives.What would you do to end your child’s suffering? Wouldn’t you as a parent, do anything to relieve their pain? Many people are still ignorant and uneducated about the miracles that cannabis and marijuana hold for people who are terminally ill as well as chronically ill. It can mean the difference between life and death, in some cases.
A film about Weed?
Not Quite. Filmmakers Abby Epstein and Ricki Lake take an unflinching look at the underground world of herbal medicine, where patients become experts on their own conditions and spend thousands of dollars on federally illegal medicines that are concocted in suburban kitchens. Nowhere is this phenomenon more compelling than in the treatment of children, whose parents will stop at nothing to help them. “Weed the People” looks beyond pot-activist propaganda and politics to reveal the legitimate science behind cannabis medicine and the compelling stories of ordinary people whose lives are inescapably caught up in the controversy.
Sophie’s case
In July 2013 new parents Tracy and Josh Ryan received the devastating news that their 7-month-old baby Sophie had an inoperable brain tumor. The doctors prescribed chemotherapy as the only course of treatment, but could not guarantee it would work. Tracy Ryan felt intuitively that western medicine alone would not be enough to save her daughter. After intensive research, the Ryans began Sophie on a regimen of medicinal cannabis oils, hoping for a miracle. Eighteen months later doctors cannot believe the results.

How is it that a PLANT that has been on this AMAZING planet Earth for MUCH LONGER than our LAWS be illegal?
Why is it that some PREACH AGAINST this miracle plant, joining political figures who are obviously members of the NWO, and AGAINST the WILL of the American people?
Well it’s obvious. Because more of them would live and a lot less would be willing to go to war at all.

Good points, all…but, Rule #1….Follow the dollar.
Mary Jane is cheap, effective, and widely available — much to the dismay of the Pharm industry. That’s why we now see states, like my former Colorado, legalizing it. Control the competition, cut out the “middle man” and TAX it.
We, or many truthers, know the CIA runs the biggest illegal narcotics industry worldwide (gun running, too) and hate competition (see; Noriega, Manuel see; Fast & Furious).
Always follow the dollar.
It may be because they wish us to be ill and die.
Or perhaps greed is the motivation, since they cannot legally patent a plant, in that way..
Therefore no money for them.
Marijuana extract was used in all of the old time medicines.

The FDA didn’t exist then either..
