Mainstream Media Asks, Why Is DHS Stockpiling Ammo, Weapons And Armored Assault Vehicles?

After years of reporting on the Federal Government’s war on the American Public, someone in the mainstream media is finally asking why the Department of Homeland Security seems to be arming itself for a war on American soil.
Early this morning, Forbes released an article asking why the Department of homeland security was buying over 1.6 billion rounds of ammo, and why they need heavily armored personnel carriers designed for war. The article points out that DHS has stockpiled enough ammo for a 20-year war in the homeland.
Dispelling the myth that it’s all for training.
Despite the fact that most of the mainstream media has dismissed these purchases, by claiming they are for training purposes, the article rightly points out that DHS only uses 15 million rounds every year. At that rate, the current stockpile would last the Department of Homeland Security 106 years; keep in mind that the 1.6 billion rounds is what they’ve purchased in the last 10 months.
To bring the numbers into perspective, the Forbes article goes on to point out, “at the height of the Iraq War the Army was expending less than 6 million rounds a month. Therefore 1.6 billion rounds would be enough to sustain a hot war for 20+ years.”
If this is all for training purposes, why are they purchasing MRAP armored personnel carriers designed for war?
So we need to ask, what exactly is DHS preparing for?

Fact: Lake City ammo plant’s annual production is 1.6 BILLION, total, which is 6% of the Pentagon’s annual requirement. If that is the Pentagon’s annual requirement, then they were shooting a hell of a lot more ammo than 5,000,000 per month in Iraq.
The Pentagon BUYS ammo from about six foreign countries and five domestic commercial ammo companies to make up the shortfall. The GAO said it took 250,000 rounds of small arms fire to kill each enemy combatant in Iraq. So…..it took a lot more than 70m rounds to fight the Iraq war. THESE figures were published in various arms trade magazines (INCLUDING Aviation Week And Space Technology.) three to six years ago. (LINK ) So, at this enlightening figure, DHS doesn’t have a whole lot of ammo, certainly not enough to control Detroit.

DHS uses 160 million rounds for training and qualification each year.
40,000 agents in twenty sub-departments including Border Patrol, Customs, Security Services, ICE, etc. That’s a lot of ammo. Americans possess about 170 billion rounds of ammunition, adding about 16 billion each year.
In a weekend class, we shoot about 8,000 rounds. Sounds like a lot, eh? Well, 15 students, but it’s only 533 rounds per student.
Every round is a controlled training experience. No blasting wildly.
Some serious SWAT schools will have students firing 10,000 rounds in four days. They will burn out a barrel in four days in their M4 5.56 carbine. So, while some speculate that the USG is buying up all the ammo, it’s bogus.
Citizens will buy about 16 to 18 BILLION ROUNDS this year.

Simple! It’s to keep us SAFE!
I have a couple questions.
They say it is for training. Training for what? WWIII?
If it is for training, why hollow points? When I am sighting in my scope or practicing, I use cheap old solid bullets. It saves money. I save the hollow points which cost more for hunting or any crook stupid enough to show up.
I wasn’t born yesterday.
I see the military buildup here in my small TX area. We are supposedly pulling out of all wars, yet a brand spanking new, mult-million $$ Natl Guard Armory was built here last yr. Our old one was basically just a brick bldg. This one has super high security checkpoints & is HUGE! And around back they have small tanks, mortars, army trucks, & more things I can’t even identify. Why on earth would we need this type of brand new equipment & Natl Guard fortress if we are on the road to peace with our enemies? We never had this type of weapons & tanks at the old armory. This stuff is meant for us. Otherwise it’s a colossal miscalculation & the govt thinks this is Afghanistan. Oh, and it’s sitting right off a main interstate highway, ya know, for convenience.
Are they doing this for protection from an outside invasion from a country? Are they just putting on a show and the vehicles are on loan and paperwork was doctored to make it look like they bought 1.6 billion rounds of ammo to put a scam on the American people and keep us in line? Are they planning for the second American Revolution/Civil War? Is some global catastrophe going to happen soon that only a few know about? People should do a little research and find out on their own how a lot of things in the Bible has been proven also do some research about how many natural and unnatural disasters have occured in the last 10 years compared to previously. The number of earthquakes, floods, volcanoes erupting, tornadoes, hurricanes, droughts, animals dying, the number of new diseases and increase in old diseases and diseases thought eradicated are making a comeback, famine, pestulence, pornograpy, decadence, greed, apathy, despair because of how are leaders have let us down, and the economy.
