Wales Women will be bidding for a second consecutive win in Euro 2017 qualifying when they face Group eight rivals Israel in Tel Aviv on Tuesday.

Jayne Ludlow’s side earned their first win of the campaign on Thursday,

beating Kazakhstan 4-0

to move above Israel into third in the group.

Helen Ward could be in line to start after coming off the bench to score a second-half hat-trick on Thursday.

Israel, who have a game in hand on Wales, have one point from two matches.

Wales completed a double over Israel last time the sides met, in Euro 2013 qualifying, as goals from Ward and Sophie Ingle secured a 2-0 away win before a 5-0 victory in Wrexham.

Uncapped Welsh duo Chloe Chivers and Shaunna Jenkins could both make their first senior international appearances if selected on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Football Association of Wales is facing disciplinary action after

failing to play Kazakhstan’s anthem

before Thursday’s qualifier.

Only the Welsh anthem was played the game, which remained goalless until Natasha Harding opened the scoring after half-time.

Victory moved Wales to within six points of leaders Austria, with only the eventual group winners guaranteed automatic qualification to the tournament in the Netherlands.
