(Before It's News)

Every Palestinian today is desperate and lost between the ongoing waves of news about the Israeli current war on Gaza. Every Palestinian family is either waiting to know whether it is its turn to sacrifice one of its members while feeling that there is nothing to do. The pictures and videos of children and women being taken to hospitals make its worse. Children crying after losing their parents in an Israeli air strike or Parents going mad while holding their killed child.

Everything turns to become black – even the sky of Gaza at day becomes dark and nothing good stays as if God is so angry while watching the souls of these children coming to him from Gaza. All of this is considered important and effective action by Israel that needs to be done in order to empower its deterrence power and oblige the Palestinians to surrender. Palestinian mothers are tired of watching their children that grew up in hard conditions ending to die in a few moments when an Israeli air strike targets their house.

I just cant understand how such a thing would be justified – how the tears and blood of these children can be justified – how the world and those who call themselves leaders of the free world stand silent or even support such an Israeli campaign that is established on the bases of targeting civilians. Justification of these actions are not the only reason given but a complete neglect of the long history of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian lands is added. We are tired of calling for justice and peace for our people – we have been shouting in this darkness for a long time and waiting for the light that will end our suffering – we want nothing except for our freedom and our land that our grandfathers protected and planted with their blood. We did not come to colonialize and we were always here but it is our destiny that we were chosen to give an example of how a world would act without justice towards a people that is shattered in refugee camps and under a racist occupation that treats us like animals – yes we are called animals.

We have sacrificed a lot to give this example to a world that forgot the importance of justice and ethics in a time that the majority seems to forget about it. How would you expect us to accept to be oppressed, killed, imprisoned, denied our basic rights and pushed to live in a corner under a siege with no option for us to live one day like the other peoples of the world. We wake up in Gaza with the sound of rockets coming into our windows from the air and our children are killed on seashores by the Israeli navy while playing football.

This desperation would have made another people surrender but we the Palestinians proved to be different. We the Canaan descendants proved that if your case is right then no darkness can stand in your way and with your own little hope you can shatter what the oppressor is trying to put on you. Victory is not the end that we will get eventually but also the lessons we are giving to the world that is silent and listening to the sound of war being faced with the smiles of children playing football under a rain of rockets.
