Not Happy With the New Look?

There’s a little more than 1 week left in the month – the first full month after EPautos’ first major redesign since the site was launched ten years ago – but we’re only about 60 percent of the way to making it into the green for the month. We need to make up about 40 percent in the next seven days.

This will help cover not just the usual fixed costs – the server/hosting – but also the new costs (Ben, the computer guy I paid to make all the changes/updates).

We’ve been working hard to make the site better – easier to use (especially for those of you who access it via your phone) as well as comprehensive. I think most of you have been pleased with the changes.

But donations are down – which is worrisome.

You guys know (I hope) how much I dislike making these appeals – but they are a necessary fact of life because independent media outlets depend almost entirely on reader financial support to keep the wheels turning.
