The cars of Tesla have generated a strong and loyal following for these finely crafted vehicles. Seems only natural for new buyers and current owners to be interested in the possibility of a Tesla pickup truck, first mentioned in 2018 by Elon Musk. But currently an electric pickup truck remains only a concept, seen in a variety of different drawings and renderings across the Internet.

What is a driver to do? That’s easy to answer, build your own. 

Using a brand new Tesla Model 3, the Swedish inventor/maker/robotics enthusiast Simone Giertz gathered a few friends together in earlier this year and modified the automobile into the ‘Truckla’, a fully-functioning Tesla based truck.

By the way, the latest information is the real Tesla Model Y electric pickup truck will drive onto the automotive scene before the end of 2019.
