A Surprise Answer to Yahoo’s Question, What Do Crowns Have to Do With Catholicism?

Friday, May 11, 2018 14:17
% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Yahoo’s report of the Met Gala had photos of numerous women wearing crowns with commentary on the crowns of kings, popes and Catholicism, mentioning the crown of thorns that Christ wore, but with no comment on the disparity. Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination (5-8-18)

Maybe it’s significant that the world’s #1 best-selling book includes crowns in identifying the sea beast of Revelation 13 and early Americans saw the beast as representing the papacy. says Dr. Richard Ruhling, author on current events and The Alpha & Omega Bible Code. He explains…

Beasts in the Bible represent governments or kingdoms (dominion of kings), but they are represented by fierce beasts of prey because of taxation, war and bad laws that do not represent the equality and wisdom of biblical laws.

The sea beast had a mouth like a lion and feet of a bear; it looked like a leopard and had the total of seven heads and 10 horns from the beasts of Daniel 7 where a horn grew out of the 4th beast (Roman Empire) to become great,

The imagery of Revelation 13 combines lion, bear and leopard, and dragon as each kingdom assimilated the previous one and the papacy survived them all with worldwide influence now–10 horns with crowns suggest completeness. Clues in Revelation 17 can only fit the papacy.

Verse 5 calls it Babylon, a term meaning confusion, with a call to come out of her and partake not of her sins and receive not of her plagues, Revelation 18.

Throughout history, Rome has used force to secure conformity to its teachings that claim biblical tradition, but a look at Christ’s famous sermon on the mount discounts traditions, “In vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men,” Matthew 7:7.

In that sermon, He said “when you pray, use not vain repetitions as the heathen do” (Matthew 6) and in a closing message, He said, “Call no man father,” Matthew 23:9.

The government in Christ’s time was corrupt and oppressive; with crying abuses,—extortion, intolerance, and grinding cruelty. But He didn’t try to change the government or interfere with those in power. Not because He was indifferent to the woes of men, but because the remedy did not lie in merely human and external measures. To be efficient, the cure must reach men individually, and must regenerate the heart.

The church ignores His example. We might wonder if the devil could be using the church failure in putting tradition over Bible truth and forcing its teachings on all.

Conservative historians estimate 50-100 million martyrs throughout the ages, most recently seen in Rwanda when UN troops could easily have stopped the genocide of Protestant Tutsis, but it was not in the interest of Rome, so the command was given to “stand down” and let local (pro-Catholic) government handle it. (YouTube documentary on Rwanda)

A New World Order by the UN will be like the papacy which is why Revelation 13 describes the beast (UN government) as an image of the previous papal beast in verses 14-16 and it compels false worship that bring plagues, Rev 14

Evangelical Christians fail to see that “Antichrist” can mean in place of Him. When people pray to dead saints and go to a priest they call “Father” and believe that he can forgive their sins or get them out of purgatory (a word not found in the Bible), this is a religion of replacement–in place of Christ or anti-Christ.

This is not against sincere Catholic believers who worship God with mistaken views. God winks in times of ignorance, but commands repentance in times of judgment when more information is available. Acts 17:30,31.

““In vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men,””

Catholic doctrine is Scripture and Apostolic Tradition. Therefore it is not the “doctrine of men”, but of God.

“He said “when you pray, use not vain repetitions as the heathen do””

1Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Always rejoice. Pray without ceasing. In all things give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you all.”

James 5:16 “Confess therefore your sins one to another: and pray one for another, that you may be saved. For the continual prayer of a just man availeth much.”

Impossible to pray without ceasing/continually and not repeat words.

“He said, “Call no man father,””

1 Corinthians 4:14-15 “I write not these things to confound you; but I admonish you as my dearest children. For if you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet not many fathers. For in Christ Jesus, by the gospel, I have begotten you.”

“We might wonder if the devil could be using the church failure in putting tradition over Bible truth and forcing its teachings on all.”

In the Catholic Church Scripture and Apostolic Tradition are equal. Scripture and Apostolic Tradition are being forced on no one. It is saving truth and must be embraced freely.

“Conservative historians estimate 50-100 million martyrs throughout the ages”

Grossly exaggerated number. And also, heretics cannot be martyrs.

“in Rwanda when UN troops could easily have stopped the genocide of Protestant Tutsis, but it was not in the interest of Rome, so the command was given to “stand down” and let local (pro-Catholic) government handle it.”

The UN is a masonic organization and the modern vatican is controlled by masons. The ones being exterminated were Catholics. Watch the movie “Beyond the Gates” (2005).

“Evangelical Christians fail to see that “Antichrist” can mean in place of Him.”

“Anti” means opposed. Even if it did mean “in place of” it would not apply to the Pope. The Pope is second in command, he holds the place for Christ’s return, and cannot change Scripture nor Apostolic Tradition. Both of which form Her teaching. The Pope cannot do whatever he likes.

“When people pray to dead saints..”

We ask Saints to pray for us to God. Those who die with Sanctifying Grace have eternal life. They are not dead. The dead ones are in hell.

“go to a priest they call “Father”..”

All Bishops and priests are Fathers by the Gospel (again 1 Corinthians 4:14-15).

“and believe that he can forgive their sins..”

God forgives the sin(s) through His priests.

John 20:22-23 “When he had said this, he breathed on them; and he said to them: Receive the Holy Ghost. Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained.”

“or get them out of purgatory”

A priest is not the only one that can get souls released. Any Catholic can pray for the souls in purgatory to be released.

Purgatory: Luke 12:59 “I say to thee, thou shalt not go out thence, until thou pay the very last mite.”

“this is a religion of replacement–in place of Christ..”

Nothing can be further from the truth.

“This is not against sincere Catholic believers who worship God”

Assault on Christ’s Bride is an assault on all Catholics, and, more importantly, it is an assault on Christ Himself.

    “mistaken views”

Isaias 5: 20 “Woe to you that call evil good, and good evil: that put darkness for light, and light for darkness: that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.”
