Obama! Guard THIS Nation from EBOLA!

Barack Obama refuses to send the National Guard to the U.S. border to protect OUR PEOPLE from illegal alien criminals, drug cartels, Enterovirus 68, drug-resistant TB, severe Coxsackie viral infections, and (worse) deathly EBOLA. Yet NBC News reports that Obama “may” send the National Guard to Liberia: [emphasis added to quotes]

President Barack Obama is expected to issue an executive order Thursday paving the way for the deployment of National Guard forces to Liberia to help contain the Ebola outbreak there, sources told NBC News.

The sources said that eight engineers and logistical specialists from the Guard, both active-duty and reservists, would probably be included in the first deployment. They are expected to help build 17 Ebola treatment centers, with 100 beds apiece. The sources said that no decision had been made.

Note the name: NATIONAL Guard. To what nation does Obama owe allegiance? What nation should the National Guard guard?

This may be a mere trial balloon to gauge public reaction. We shall see.

Obama, it’s said, is panicking. Not so much because he cares about the lives of U.S. citizens, but because he does care about EBOLA’S potential negative impact on the November elections, and what that means for his plan to fundamentally transform our nation.

So Obama will not deploy the National Guard to close our borders, nor will he issue a travel ban to protect our people from this deathly disease, EBOLA.

Which nation, therefore, is his priority? Liberia or the USA? Which people are his priority?

We’re told that 100 to 150 people enter the U.S. every day from EBOLA-infested nations in Africa. That’s 150 people that they know about, because nobody knows who else is traipsing across the border unimpeded, or from whence they came. The latter group includes potential terrorists, who are already on record suggesting that they may use EBOLA-infected jihadists against the USA.

But why are 150 potential EBOLA carriers allowed into our country every day? Is their “freedom” to come into the USA–which is a privilege, not a right–more important than the life of any single U.S. citizen who may become infected and perhaps die of EBOLA?

Of these 150 potentially EBOLA-carrying travelers, CDC Director Thomas Frieden testified before Congress that 94% are screened for the disease. What of the other 6%? They’re the ones who could kill us.

Not to worry! Obama and Frieden have this situation under control. They promise to be more aggressive.

What have they been previously? Lackadaisical? Has the Centers for Disease CONTROL and PREVENTION been passive-aggressively attending to this potential disaster, until ordered to become “more aggressive” by Obama? What’s next? Most aggressive?

How did you react upon hearing Obama claim yesterday that the

likelihood of widespread Ebola outbreaks in this country are [sic] very, very low.

Okay. So does that mean that Obama accepts the possibility of some not-so-widespread outbreaks (plural) in the U.S.?  How about the possibility of a singular “widespread” outbreak in the U.S.?

That might be the singular OUTBREAK that we may already be experiencing. Seventy-six people were in contact with Thomas Eric Duncan.  How many more individuals were in contact with the two nurses who are now known to also be infected?

Some scientists postulate the possibility of as many as two dozen EBOLA cases in the U.S. by November. That’s in addition to the cases in Dallas and would comprise yet more infected travelers who will be allowed into this country, as well as some of those who care for them, if the protocols fail (again) or are not followed (again).

Obama’s rhetoric must be reassuring to the good citizens of Dallas as well as to the nursing community, over three-fourths of whom believe they are unprepared to deal with EBOLA.

In typical Obama fashion, he made this about himself:

I want to use myself as an example just so that people have a sense of the science here. I shook hands with, hugged, and kissed not the doctors, but a couple of the nurses at Emory because of the valiant work that they did in treating one of the patients. They followed the protocols, they knew what they were doing, and I felt perfectly safe doing so.

You see, Obama knows about “the science” and so he’s here to reassure all you illiterates that there’s nothing to fear. (By the way, didn’t he tell us before that this outbreak wouldn’t happen in the first place?)

Has anyone seen proof of Obama mashing on any nurses at Emory? How long after the patient recovered did Obama allegedly shake hands with, hug, or kiss “a couple of the nurses?” Were these particular nurses ever in close contact with the patient or did they perhaps only handle paperwork? I’m just askin’, because we all know that Obama is full of parables, especially about himself.

Let’s not forget that when the numerous African potentates assembled for a soiree at the WH earlier this year, they were consigned to a tent on the White House lawn. Obama took the unusual step of breaking protocol by not greeting the African guests personally and shaking their hands. Oh, no. Instead, Obama had some minion do the hand-shaking for him, so count me as skeptical about this latest claim. With Obama, it’s never about truth, but it’s always about the narrative.

CDC Director Frieden has frequently appeared on the news, assuring us that he’s confident that there won’t be any “large outbreaks” of EBOLA in the USA. Catch that qualifier? Big enough to drive an ambulance through. How’d you like to be in the middle of even a small EBOLA outbreak?

In my opinion, and probably in the opinions of the families of nurses Nina Pham and Amber Vinson, EVEN ONE CASE of EBOLA contracted within the USA is one too many.

Do those families feel better knowing that, even though their loved one was unnecessarily infected, the “outbreak” won’t be “large” or “widespread?”

How large is large? How widespread is widespread?

Obama and Frieden also resist instituting a travel ban against visitors from EBOLA-infested countries, even though that step WOULD undoubtedly save lives within the USA.  Less important in the big scheme of things but still worth noting: A travel ban would also save our health care systems, insurance companies, and the U.S. taxpayers millions, if not billions, of dollars.  The estimated cost for treating the current EBOLA patients is half a million dollars apiece. A large or widespread EBOLA outbreak in the USA could send our nation back into recession.

Of course, if your goals include stressing people out, sowing fear, gathering power by any means necessary, as well as collapsing the U.S. economy and its government, then what more could you ask for than an EBOLA epidemic? It’s all good for any student of Cloward and Piven and Saul Alinsky.

Here’s an idea: Why don’t we make aid contingent upon the EBOLA-infested countries putting a travel ban on their own citizens? Is that too much to ask in return for billions of dollars and the risk our troops take, going over there to help?

Director Frieden’s CDC allowed one of the infected nurses to fly from Ohio to Dallas even though they knew she had an elevated temperature:

More alarmingly, the diagnosis was made just hours after the nurse, 29-year-old Amber Vinson, had flown from Cleveland to Dallas on a commercial airliner, despite reporting to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that she had a fever.

That Vinson was allowed to travel at all — along with continued questions about why federal procedures for Ebola treatment appear not to have been implemented in Dallas — have prompted serious questions about the administration’s handling of the disease less than three weeks before the midterm elections. 

That’s a measure of the competence of the people who are supposed to be “aggressively” handling this potential epidemic.

Some suggest that Obama fears that EBOLA will be his Katrina. Huge difference, however.

President George W. Bush could not control the weather. Obama, however, could control whether or not an African infected with EBOLA got into the USA. Obama did not stop EBOLA at our border.

Obama willfully did not prevent “the index patient” from flying into this country, because he refused to institute a travel ban, when other countries did. Now two young women’s lives are at stake.

This is not about Obama. It’s about those two young women and all the others who may already be infected, due to Obama’s mendacious negligence and the incompetence of his administration.

Because of Obama’s deliberate political correctness and his almost knee-jerk determination to always place the welfare other countries ahead of the welfare of the people of the United States of America, we must now, somehow, endure an EBOLA outbreak.

Pray for those young women and for their families. Pray for those who are still at risk of being diagnosed.

Pray for the United States of America.
