An old American summarizes America’s plight

While our politicians stupify themselves and us with their incompetence and their inabilities to run our country with honesty, dignity and balance—we all suffer the consequences.

We’re losing our educational systems. We’re losing our cities to violence and overcrowding. We’re losing our country to financial bankruptcy. We’re losing our culture, our language and our way of life. We’re losing our environment to too much human population loading.  We are losing our country as we immigrate millions of people from third world countries.

What is worse:  most leaders and average Americans run from the real equations degrading America. Of the thousands of letters I receive, this one by a 74 year old man named Bob in Shiloh, Georgia tells it like it is:

“I’m a 74 year old, transplanted to Georgia, disliking 50 years of the frozen north!” said Bob. “Your concerns of overpopulation resonate with me, and I would like to present a few thoughts from my experience.

“The main problem I see in the world is very complicated to explain. We are all “victims” of what the “industrial revolution” has produced on planet earth. I realize what a boon it has been for us to have all the latest gadgets and push-button marvels of our modern age. But Corporatism must take
blame for much of the problems produced.

“With the selfish super wealthy hoarding everything within grasp, it leaves little room for the not-so-blessed to eke out a reasonable living, let alone help in population control!

“There never has been an answer worked out for our many problems, even with all the promises of the politicians along the way. This problem of our being controlled over the earth by the wealthy moneychangers/banksters leaves us in a terrible bind.

“The only way I feel we can begin to solve these monumental problems of earth is for these better off folks to have a change of heart, seeing everyone else (beneath them!), as neighbors, for whom they should have real concern, with a desire to help them get a fairer share of life’s bountiful pie.

“Now, if you can figure out a way to bring this about, as the men of the cloth have failed to do all these centuries, then you will go down in history as a real hero of the human race.

“As it is, I see no hope of there being a change, simply because there are too many warmongers and wealthy in control of all areas of life that matter most. They are destroying all our resources because of their selfishness,
and we’re left with the problem of fixing up the earth after they have virtually destroyed it single handedly. Good luck in your endeavors.”
