Officer Darren Wilson Has Broken Bones In His Face

Wilson is the officer who shot Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. It sounds like his account of being attacked by Brown before the shooting has some merit.

Reports are that a dozen eye-witnesses corroborate Wilson’s account.

And now it appears that Dorian Johnson, who was with Brown at the time of the shooting has changed his story. He originally said that Brown was trying to get away when Wilson shot him. Now a St. Louis radio station is saying that Johnson has recanted and admits that he and Brown had attacked Wilson and were trying to take his gun away from him.

If this is true it is very powerful.

Local St. Louis sources said Wilson suffered an “orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket.” This comes from a source within the Prosecuting Attorney’s office and confirmed by the St. Louis County Police.

A blowout fracture is a fracture of one or more of the bones surrounding the eye and is commonly referred to as an orbital floor fracture.

The St. Louis County Police told reporters after the shooting that the police officer involved suffered facial injuries. He “was hit” and the “side of his face was swollen.”
