The Muslim Brotherhood in America: Jihad by Deception and Infiltration: Part 1 of a series

The Muslim Brotherhood is the most powerful Muslim political organization in the world. Its motto is “Allah is our objective; the Prophet is our leader; the Koran is our law; Jihad is our way; dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.” They belong to the Sunni branch of Islam, competing for world dominance with the numerically smaller Shia branch led by Iran. The Brotherhood’s modern operating philosophy is often called “Civilization Jihad” or stealth Jihad. They typically work by deception and subversion until they are strong enough to take power and enforce their dominance by the sword. Hamas and Islamic Jihad are two of their terrorist branches. They have also had considerable influence over al-Qaeda, which is essentially a spinoff of Hamas. Oil money, especially from Saudi Arabia and Qatar, has been one of their most powerful resources for propagandizing, bribing, and corrupting political, civil, education, banking, and church leaders.

Recently, Saudi Arabia has become wary of the Brotherhood, perceiving them as a threat to the Saudi monarchy. The Sunni Saudis have also become extremely wary of Shiite Iran and Sunni ISIS. Saudi Arabia is the world’s largest exporter of oil. On January 23, King Salman, 79, acceded to the Saudi throne on the death of his half brother, Abdullah, who died at the age of 90. Salman was recently Defense Minister and Abdullah’s chief government deputy. He has extensive government experience and is considered a stabilizing force. His half brother Muqrin, 69, also having considerable government experience, was named heir apparent and chief deputy. Neither Salman nor Muqrin believe democracy should be imposed upon Saudi Arabia.

One of the most disturbing things about Muslim Brotherhood infiltration and increased influence in the United States is the degree to which it was accelerated by both the Clinton and G. W. Bush administrations. However, under President Obama it has escalated to unbelievable proportions, especially in the Department of Homeland Security and national intelligence and immigration agencies. Influence over banking and educational institutions and Department of Defense policies has also increased dramatically. A later article will examine how Hillary Clinton advanced the cause of the Muslim Brotherhood as President Obama’s Secretary of State. 

Overthrow of Western governments by increased immigration, especially Muslim immigration, is an important strategic tool in the “Civilization Jihad” war plan of the Muslim Brotherhood.

In 1979, Abdurahman Alamoudi immigrated to the United States from Eritrea, a small nation on the Red Sea, just north of Ethiopia. Eleven years later, he founded the American Muslim Council (AMC) with the help of the Muslim Brotherhood. He became a U.S. citizen in 1996.  His involvement with nearly two-dozen other Muslim organizations in the U.S and Saudi financial resources soon thrust him into prominence as an influential spokesman for Muslim-Americans

This was his entry into the Clinton administration. In 1995, he helped President Clinton and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) develop federal guidelines for “Religious Expression in Public Schools.”  During 1995 and 1996. Alamoudi and 23 other Muslim leaders met with President Clinton and Vice President Gore on several occasions. This led to Alamoudi taking the lead role in establishing a Muslim Chaplain Program for the Department of Defense. Subsequently, he became the final certifying authority for Muslim chaplains serving in the U.S. Armed Services. He retained this influential position until 1998. One of his appointed Chaplains, James Yee, was arrested in 2003 for supporting the jihadists imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Alamoudi’s influence did not stop with the Clinton administration. In 1998, he provided $20,000 to help Republican Grover Norquist, the founder of Americans for Tax Reform,establish the Islamic Free Market Institute (better known as the Islamic Institute or II). Norquist served as chairman of the board, while Alamoudi’s chief deputy, Khaled Suffuri was made its executive director. The Islamic Institute thereafter quickly became a Muslim Brotherhood front organization. Despite Norquist’s early reputation as a conservative, he has since distinguished himself as an advocate of amnesty for 12 million illegal immigrants and increased legal immigration for Muslims. 

As a further result of Alamoudi’s connections to Muslim-Americans and his connections with the Islamic Free Market Institute, he and several other Muslim Brotherhood operatives were invited to meet with then Texas Governor George W. Bush in the governor’s mansion. Suffuri was designated as Bush’s Coordinator for Muslim outreach for the Bush presidential campaign of 2000.

Following the election, Suhail Khan, a member of the Islamic Institute’s board of directors—with many Muslim Brotherhood connections—was made the gatekeeper for the Muslim community and the White House Office of Public Liaison. This put the Muslim Brotherhood in a position of considerable influence in shaping the Bush Administration’s understanding of  the nature of Islam and U.S. defense and foreign policy following the 9/11 attacks on New York and the Pentagon in Washington. Despite Bush’s generally tough-minded positions on national security issues, he became a tragically misinformed, veritable cheerleader for Islam as a “religion of peace and tolerance.” Bush also ignored the immense and highly probable fiscal, economic, cultural, political, and national security consequences of massive amnesty. 

In October 2000 however, Alamoudi was filmed at an anti-Israel rally where his support for the terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah was recorded.  In 2003, Alamoudi was arrested at the Heathrow Airport near London, carrying $340,000 given to him by Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi for the assassination of Crown Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia and jihad against the United States. Further investigation after his extradition to the United States revealed that he was a senior financier of al-Qaeda. He is now serving a 23-year prison sentence.

Following Alamoudi’s sentencing, responsibility for Muslim Chaplain selection and training was transferred to the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA)—the largest Muslim Brotherhood front in the United States. The Obama Administration now suppresses the free speech of Christian military chaplains and promotes the dangerously deceptive left-liberal dogma that Islam is a religion of “peace and tolerance.” This left-liberal dogma is considerably at odds with the actual teachings of the Koran and Muhammad.
