Donald Trump is a Genius – But That’s Just His IQ!

(Before It's News)

Donald Trump is a Genius – But That’s Just His IQ!

The most well known high IQ society is Mensa.  To join Mensa one must score in the top 2% of a standardized IQ test.  That really isn’t all that outstanding.  One out of 50 people have IQs high enough to join Mensa.

Numerical IQ scores are not an accurate indicator of intelligence.  For instance a score of 72 on the U.S. Navy GCT test is about equal to score of 150 on the WAIS (Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale).  Percentile IQ scores are a more informative measurement.

Way back during the 2004 presidential election I wrote an article that shook up the major news networks and the New York Times.  I was able to document that George Bush had a higher IQ score and better grades than John Kerry.  I belong to one of those high IQ societies, and I am a psychotherapist, so I have a credible background to evaluate Mr. Trump, even though my opinions are speculative.

Please keep in mind that IQ is a measure of intellect not character.  I will comment on Donald Trump’s character later in this article.

Donald Trump graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1968, with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and anthropology.  Mensa  doesn’t accept SAT scores from after 1994.  However Mr Trump was a student at Wharton when it was possible to derive an accurate IQ core from known SAT scores.   Given the usual requirements for admission to a top school like Wharton, I estimate that Mr. Trump has a 156 IQ at the minimum.

The standard description of this level of intelligence is “Genius – Exception intellectual ability and capable of looking beyond known facts.”  However, the percentile rating is more revealing than the raw score.  A 156 IQ is at the 99.9905490555 percentile.  That means that Donald Trump is smarter than 99.99 percent of the people on planet earth.  Not only does Trump qualify for membership in Mensa but he could join the Triple Nine Society.

People with this kind of intellectual ability can do things with their minds that can’t even be described to ordinary people.  Remember that quote from the above paragraph, “capable of looking beyond known facts?”  These highly intelligent minds process and organize data into solutions and insights, and the individual person is not even  consciously aware of the process.  The cartoon light bulb that goes on over someone’s head happens to people like Mr. Trump on a regular basis.  I would not be surprised if Mr Trump’s  IQ actually measures significantly higher than the minimum estimate mentioned above.

Enough about how smart Mr. Trump is.  I was motivated to write this article because of the personality traits that are revealed in Mr. Trump’s behavior.  His character traits are every bit as fascinating as his intellect.

Abraham Maslow, the American Psychologist and philosopher best known for his self-actualization theory of psychology, spent most of his professional career trying to identify what was right with people, rather than looking at pathology.  Maslow did extensive research to define the traits of a “self actualized” person.  My wife and professional partner is also a high IQ person.  She makes the point that a better term is “self actualizing,” correctly pointing out that there isn’t state of personality to be achieved, but rather the individual is in the process of becoming his best self.
Donald Trump’s observable behavior informs us about the degree to which he is “self actualizing.”  Quote from a Psychology Professor I once had; “People are not who you think they are. People are not who they think they are. People are what they do. That is why this is called a behavioral science”. Forget the labels. They are all misleading. Pay attention to the behavior.

Here are some examples of the Traits of a Self Actualized Person, from Maslow’s own research:

·       They resist enculturation.
Self-actualizers tend to be nonconformists,since they are inner-directed people.  If a cultural norm is contrary to their personal values, they simply will not adhere to it.

They are almost always loners, or leaders.  They are never joiners. Yup. That sounds like the “Donald” to me!
·       They are creative.
Maslow found this trait in all of the self-actualizers.
“This is a universal characteristic of all the people studied or observed.  There is no exception. This creativeness appears in some of our subjects not in the usual forms of writing books, composing music, or producing artistic objects … It is as if this special type of creativeness being an expression of healthy personality is projected out upon the world, or touches whatever activity the person is engaged in.  In this sense there can be creative shoemakers or carpenters or clerks. This creativity comes from the fact that self-actualizers are more open to experience and more spontaneous in their feelings.

Yes, Donald is always coming up with new creative ways of seeing things differently and solving problems.

·       They are autonomous and therefore tend to be independent of their environment.
 Because self-actualizers are B-motivated rather than D-motivated, they are more dependent on their own inner world than on the outer world. Deficiency motivated people must have other people available since most of their main need gratifications (love safety. respect, prestige, belongingness) can come only from other human beings.  But growth motivated [B-motivated] people may actually be hampered by others. The determinants of satisfaction, and of the good life, are for them inner & individual, and not social.  They have become strong enough to be independent of the good opinion of other people, or even of their affection.  The honors, the status, the rewards, the popularity, the prestige and the loveothers can bestow must have become less important than self-development and inner growth.”

Donald frequently says that he doesn’t plan what he is going to say.  It is obvious that his strategy is to simply be authentic.

·       They have a strong ethical sense.
Although their notions of right and wrong are often unconventional, self-actualizers, nonetheless almost always know the ethical implications of their own actions.

Right and wrong (good and evil) are part of every decision Donald makes.

·       They tend to accept democratic values.
Self-actualizers do not respond to individuals on the basis of race, status or religion.  They can be and are friendly with anyone of suitable character regardless of class, education, political belief, race or color.  As a matter of fact, it often seems as if they are not even aware of these differences,which are for the average person so obvious and important.

Donald is as likely to treat his chauffeur or secretary as equitably as  CEOs or politicians.

·       They tend to identify with all of mankind.
The concerns that self-actualizers have for other people do not extend only to their friends and family, but to all people in all cultures throughout the world. This feeling of brotherhood extends also to individuals who are aggressive, inconsiderate, or otherwise foolish.  Self-actualizers have a genuine desire to help the human race.

Donald consistently shows a universality of concern for all people.

·       They exhibit spontaneity, simplicity and naturalness.
Self-actualizers tend to be true to their feelings; what they really feel they tend to say and/or experience. They do not hide behind a mask, and do not act in accordance with social roles.  They are true to themselves, speaking candidly and authentically.

One of the traits that makes Donald so popular with voters is that he is “real.”
~~~~
There are many other observations to be made about Mr. Trump being a “self actualizing” person.  However, let it suffice to observe that Donald Trump is a brilliant man with a healthy personality.  It should be pointed out that “self-actualizing” people are not what most human resources departments are looking for.  Most executives want those who will follow the manual and fit into the corporate culture.  That does not describe Donald Trump.
Maybe the voters of America share some of the same biases as executives.  Perhaps what we need is a rebel genius with self actualized traits to be our President.  Lord knows we have tried enough of the other kind of leader.
      You’re not a genius, Sam.
      On the day after Obama’s election the lottery drew 666 in his hometown Chicago.
      That’s the mark of the beast aka the Antichirst, so if you can’t put two and two together it means you’re pretty weak.
            I’ve got an article by Lisa Miller, a Yale PHD graduate.
            She’s senior Editor at Newsweek, previously Senior Editor with WSJ.
            The article she wrote is “Is Obama the Antichrist?”
            Low-education freaks won’t understand what she says.
            She says like me that the lottery draw of 666 in Obama’s hometown the day after his election makes Obama be the Antichrist for many people.
            (I announce the Apocalypse and Revelation as a Buddhist reluctantly delving into the Christian Apocalypse as a Messenger of it.)
            As part of revealing the APOCALYPSE NOW Trump’s rise and Joe Arpaio’s insistance on the birth certificate are vital elements of revealing the Antichrist Obama.
            In 2008 Newsweek Magazine‘s headline: Is Obama the Antichrist? Proof that he was so is in the article saying Lottery in Obama’s hometown drew Mark of the Beast (Antichrist) 666, the day after Obama’s election.
            A poll says that 1 in 4 say Obama’s may be, … and 1 in 8 says for sure, Obama’s…. the Antichrist.
            Sam, the PHD graduate writing for Newsweek will level the ground here.
            I’ll send it here.
            Obama’s beyond doubt the Antichrist.
            Belief Watch: Is Obama the Antichrist?
            On Nov. 5, Todd Strandberg was at his desk, fielding E-mails from around the world. As the editor and founder of RaptureReady.com, his job is to track current events and link them to biblical prophecy in hopes of maintaining his status as “the eBay of prophecy,” the best source online for predictions and calculations concerning the end of the world. Already Barack Obama had drawn the attention of apocalypse watchers after an anonymous e-mail circulated among conservative Christians in October implying that he was the Antichrist. Former “Saturday Night Live” ingénue Victoria Jackson fueled the fire when, according to news reports, she wrote on her Web site that Obama “bears traits that resemble the anti-Christ.” Now Strandberg was receiving up-to-the-minute news from his constituents in Illinois. One of the winning lottery numbers in the president-elect’s home state was 666— which, as everyone knows, is the sign of the Beast (also known as the Antichrist). “It is very eerie, and I take it for a sign as to who he really is,” wrote one of Strandberg’s correspondents.
            The Obama shills like Doggoneit took Lisa Miller to task so bad for that article.
            They dogged her.
            She said: “It’s my job at Newsweek to track all religious groups waiting for the Apocalypse and when Obama was elected I just did my job.”
            Sam’s just to info-stupid to understand what religious prophecy is about.
            Ever since Jesus Christ was crucified and, according to the Gospels, rose again in glory, his followers have been anticipating the end of history—the time when their Lord will return to earth and reign for a thousand years. The question has always been when. Most Christians don’t worry about the end too much; it’s an abstract concept, a theological puzzle for late-night pondering. A few, however, have always believed that it is coming—and soon. Millennialist movements, as they’re called, gain prominence especially when the world grows chaotic, during wars and at the turn of every century. According to a 2006 study by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life, a third of white evangelicals believe the world will end in their lifetimes. These mostly conservative Christians believe a great battle is imminent. After years of tribulation—natural disasters, other cataclysms (such as the collapse of financial markets)—God’s armies will vanquish armies led by the Antichrist himself. He will be a sweet-talking world leader who gathers governments and economies under his command to further his own evil agenda. In this world view, “the spread of secular progressive ideas is a prelude to the enslavement of mankind,” explains Richard Landes, former director of the Center for Millennial Studies at Boston University.
            No wonder, then, that Obama triggers such fear in the hearts of America’s millennialist Christians. Mat Staver, dean of Liberty University’s law school, says he does not believe Obama is the Antichrist, but he can see how others might. Obama’s own use of religious rhetoric belies his liberal positions on abortion and traditional marriage, Staver says, positions that “religious conservatives believe will threaten their freedom.” The people who believe Obama is the Antichrist are perhaps jumping to conclusions, but they’re not nuts: “They are expressing a concern and a fear that is widely shared,” Staver says.
            Before Christ comes again, those who are saved will ascend to heaven, according to this end-times theology, in a huge, upward whoosh called the Rapture. Strandberg is so certain that the Rapture is coming, he’s bought a number of Internet addresses in addition to RaptureReady: AntiAntichrist, Tribulationus and RaptureMe. In the event that RaptureReady crashes during the apocalypse, anyone who needs an update will, with a simple Google search, be able to get one. Strandberg says Obama probably isn’t the Antichrist, but he’s watching the president-elect carefully. On his Web site, he has something called the Rapture Index, a calculation based on signs and prophecy of the proximity of the end. According to Strandberg, any number over 160 means “fasten your seat belts.” Obama’s win pushed the index to 161
            Stunning poll results reveal pulse of the nation
            Some are comparing Satan from “The Bible” TV miniseries with President Obama.
            The good news for the White House is that three of four respondents to a Public Policy Polling survey say they do not believe that Barack Obama is the Antichrist, the epitome of evil that the Bible explains will come to deceive people during the End Times.
            But on the other hand, 13 percent are convinced he is, and another 13 percent – for a total of one in four across the nation – say they aren’t sure.
            It was question No. 8 on the organization’s national survey. Other questions asked whether people believed in global warming, whether Osama bin Laden was alive and whether a UFO crashed at Roswell, N.M., in 1947 and the U.S. government covered it up.
            According to the London Guardian, the survey asked about a number of conspiracy theories, which the report described as “insane.”
            The survey falls on the heels of the online world exploding with comments when the devil in the recent “The Bible” television miniseries bore a more-than-passing resemblance to Obama. Earlier, prophecy websites had a field day after Obama sparred with a fly, and it was reported he’s had a history of attracting flies during interviews. Religious and other websites noted that a biblical term for Satan, the Semitic deity Beelzebub, literally translates from Hebrew into “Lord of the Flies.”
            See the argument that someone else is the Antichrist, in a couple of books by Joel Richardson.
            In the poll, 37 percent of respondents believe global warming is a hoax, 6 percent believe Osama bin Laden remains alive, 21 percent think that UFO crashed at Roswell, and 28 percent hold that a “secretive power elite with a globalist agenda is conspiring to eventually rule the world.”
            In addition, 28 percent believe Saddam Hussein was involved in the 2001 terror attacks, 20 percent think there’s a link between childhood vaccines and autism, 7 percent believe the moon landing was faked, 29 percent believe in aliens, and 9 percent believe the reason the government adds fluoride to drinking water is more sinister than health reasons.
            “Even crazy conspiracy theories are subject to partisan polarization, especially when there are political overtones involved,” said Dean Debnam, president of PPP. “But most Americans reject the wackier ideas out there about fake moon landings and shape-shifting lizards.”
            The poll of 1,247 registered American voters last month has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.8 percent.
            The poll indicated that even 5 percent of those who voted for Obama believe he is the Antichrist, as do 22 percent of Mitt Romney supporters.
            Obama’s encounters with flies earlier drew attention.
            “This guy is bothering me here,” said Obama, who repeatedly swatted at a large black fly buzzing near his face during a speech.
            The London Telegraph noted a White House pool report said “the president spoke for about five minutes while being menaced by a house fly.”
            It was not the president’s first brush with a fly while the cameras were rolling. In 2010, Obama halted a speech about health care reform as a fly zipped around him. During a June 2009 CNBC interview, Obama killed a fly on camera.
            During a 2008 campaign appearance, Obama halted a local interview after a swarm of flies had gathered around him.
            At RevelationNow.net, a posting by “editorial staff” mused about whether Obama is possessed by a demonic entity.
            “I feel like I am watching a horror movie and the secret evil character is revealed by the evil signs around him,” the post read.
            Twitter exploded with comments when viewers of the miniseries “The Bible” saw an eerie similarity between the face of Obama and that of the Satan character, played by actor Mehdi Ouzaani.
            Media giant Glenn Beck was among the first to make the connection, tweeting, “Anyone else think the Devil in #TheBible Sunday on History Channel looks exactly like That Guy?”
            Beck refers to Obama as “That Guy” because of a vow not to utter the name of the president this year.
            Twitter user @Leah Christie, tweeted, “Oh my word … watching The History Channel’s The Bible … does Satan look familiar to anyone else?”
            Other tweets included:
            @Hunt4Photos: “History channel/last night/show: The Bible. Why did Satan look just like President Obama? Pissed off man!”
            Slhappy Gilmore@KPOView: “I was so excited about #TheBible as it’s a way to bring it to life for all to see. But political statements like Satan=Obama, we lose.”
            Stephanie Jefferson@mittchick: “I am so relieved to know that my eyes and mind were not playing tricks on me when I thought Satan resembled Obama in #TheBible”
            VictorJett Contreras@victorjett: WHA! Did the Bible miniseries on History Channel make the Devil look like Obama. Crazy. Ridiculous.”
            Rush Limbaugh held up a photo of the actor on his famous “Dittocam” to show viewers that the Satan character was “a dead ringer” for Obama.
            “Folks, it is uncanny,” Limbaugh noted, before quipping, “In light of that picture … the question that sprang to everybody’s mind is: if Satan had a son, would he look like the guy [in the White House]?”
            Find out everything you always wanted to know about the devil but were too afraid to ask in the autographed besteller, “Shocked by the Bible,” or get “Shocked by the Bible” bundled with Joe Kovacs’ brand-new bestseller, “The Divine Secret.”
            It’s not the first time a connection has been made between evil in the Bible and Obama.
            On Nov. 5, 2008, the very night Obama was first elected president, the Illinois Pick 3 lottery number for the Evening Pick was 666, a number associated with “the beast” mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Obama’s home state at the time was Illinois.
            Other results of the new Public Policy Polling survey?
            Four percent believe shape-shifting reptilian alien people control the world, 25 percent think Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in killing Kennedy, 14 percent believe in Bigfoot and 15 percent think the media or the government adds mind-control technology to television signals.
            Also, 15 percent say new diseases are invented by the pharmaceutical and medical industries, 11 percent believe the U.S. allowed the 9/11 terror attacks and 5 percent say Paul McCartney died in 1966 and was replaced by a lookalike.
    I have some respect for the alleged intelligence of the donald whose tendency to bluster and brag enlivens an otherwise bland field of murderous globalists. Left out of this interesting dissertation on Trump’s correlations to Maslow’s self-actualized persona is any recognition of a demand for truth and justice that such persons are said to have. If Trump was worth a damn he would have been a voice in opposition to the govermob inside job that bombed his own beloved city on 9/11.
    His other personality traits unfortunately paint him solidly in the pathological liar class that occupies the ruling places in government and business. Never a mention of his father who set him up with $400 million and all the right connections. Another insider painting himself as a maverick by chasing Obama’s non-existent birth certificate.
    To his alleged “light-bulb” intelligence: his answer to ISIS is bomb the oil fields which support them (not a bad start) and then send in Exxon, “the best team in the world” to rebuild. When Anderson Cooper suggested that these workers would need protection if not marines and armor, Trumpy drew a blank. So much for farsightedness.
          Beware of the false christ Doggeonit who is the Minion of Satan and who solely serves his master, his God and Saviour the Devil, Obama the Antichrist…
          The Day of Last Judgment will come in the Apocalypse, Christians know that.
          They’ll be judged and Jesus said Chrisians would not be saved because the sins would reach too high a rate.
          The Obama fens have made a website to smear me which they post online whenever I go online to spread the news that Obama’s the Antichrist: Christians should heed my message very carefully because its their only chance to get to heaven.
          If people are not intelligent enough to grasp this simple message then they’ll not get to heaven; it’s as simple as that.
          • King of Shambhala
            TYPO: “In my opinion Obama’s seven heads are his ten faiths” should be “In my opinion Obama’s seven heads are his SEVEN faiths” lol
        • King of Shambhala
          If people are too stupid and crazy to realize what Trump’s rise means that means they’re hopeless cases.
          It means that Trump’s birther statements are here to stay and will be thankfully exposed day by day for all to see that they’re TRUE and realize that Obama’s in fact a criminal using fake documents.
          That’ll all work in the direction of revealing the Antichrist Obama’s hideous past aka the Hideous Beast (i.e. the Antichrist) with seven heads of the Bible.
          In my opinion Obama’s seven heads are his ten faiths (tell me if I’m wrong on one of them): 1. Communism, 2. Islam, 3. Christianity, 4. Judaism (brother, cousin, [i.e. Capers Funnye: who's a black Hebrew Isrealite RABBI - Antisemitic] and mother-in-law are all Jews.) 5. Black Liberation Theology (Communist-Christian), 6. Black Nationlism (Black Power) 7. Radicalism (Enemies of Socialism).
          The Antichrist’s ten crowns are (what do you say? It seems t so to me.) his ten lands of contact:
          1. USA,
          2. England (Hawaii and Kenya were colionies when he was born)
          3. Hawaii,
          4. Kenya,
          5. Africa,
          6. Saudi (Mecca Islam)
          7. Russia (Marx)
          8. Germany (Karl Marx)
          9. Isreal (his family’s Jewish)
          10. Indonesia.
          As for the meaning of the Number 666 as a “Man of Widom” I say it’s Obama’s money. Why?
          Because money is what a lottery is.
          So the Mark of the Beast 666 which the Bible says will be forced upon our hands and foreheads will be/is Obama’s money I think.
          By arresting Obama for document forgery (Joe Arpaio says he arrests people EVERY DAY dffor that) all his work of six years will be cancelled and whatever he has ever signed will be anulled in an instant. So the debt we’ve run up bya ccpeting Obama’s spending in our hand and forehead will bea nnulled.
          We can drive the debt clock down again in an instant. (It’ll take a few years to bring it to zero but at least we’ll attain the feat of inversing it’s rise overnight at least and drive it down.)
          So, I’ve explained Obmaa’s the Antichrist because of the lotto’s 666; I’ve explained his seven heads and ten crowns (as in the Bible) and explained the “man of wisdom” ‘s calculation of the meaning of 666. And I’ve called out the corrupt shills for Obama who send death threats using their cowardly anonymous handles while trolling at BIN.
          Join me in spreading this message and you’ll be saved in heaven.
          • King of Shambhala
            Doggoneit’s (just a anonymous troll with no name and no identity, and makes no BIN articles… but makes death threats and was abnned by me…) a troll who loves Obama for whatever reason be it Leftitism, or because Obama’s black.
            (Doggoenit’s a racist race supremacist probably who thinks blacks are the chosen people? Who knows what’s in their heads.).
            The website he’s sending here that smears me was set up by someone working at Wikipedia and he wrote to me that “they” would block me on Internet by monitoring everythng I wrote and opposing it in the website.
            What irked that guy so much as to get me banned from Wikipedia was I got in a couple of dog-fights with the moderators there about edits I was making to various pages to say that in Obama’s hometown, the Illinois lottery drew 666 the day after Obama’s election.
            The crux of the confilict came when a moderator wrote to to me Verbatim in the “Talk Page” (discussing main pages’ editing) “Don’t try to edit anywhere in Wikipedia that in Obama’s hometown, the Illinois lottery drew 666 the day after Obama’s election.”
            Then they banned me.
            But not enough with that they came to my private emial and made threats that they’d monitor and oppose me from writing that anywhwere on Internet.
            That’s when I knew theyw ere serious.
            Since then I’ve been followed around 24 7 everywhere on Internet.
            Who can pay for people to do that?
            Who could want to do that freely?
            Now Christians have told me that I can’t be the ONE to announce that Obama’s the Antichrist because that would make me be Jesus. They mainly say it’s because I’m not Christian so I’m disqualified.
            My nature is not to take abuse in my face.
            So, I’ve shot back at all Christians telling them that Jesus himself clearly said that no one will be saved in the Apocalypse.
            Jesus clearly said that when he returned in the Second Coming it would not be as expected by people (he’d not return as a Christian seeing Jesus said to “not follow anyone coming in his (My) name”).
            Jesus said the Second Coming would come like lightning falling to earth and like a thief coming at night and so it’ll surprise everybody.
            My being Buddhist perfectly qualifies me whereas Christians are disqualified by what Jesus wrote. (Jesus said “No Christians will be Jesus’ Second Return”. i.e. “Don’t follow them because they’re not me.” Jesus said)
            It’s not rocket science to understand it.
            The reason no one has stood up until now to reveal that Obama’s the Antichrist is beyond me.
            Christians seem to have some serious blinders on their eyes.
            I’m revealing Obama’s the Antichrist. Why haven’t any Christians taken over the message and claimed their place as the Messiah and as Jesus’ Second return? Why would a Buddhist like me have to do the job for them? Christians seem paralysed and can’t muster any strength. The Antichrist Obama is glowering (and leering) down at them from the White House and they’re silent like lambs as in the Silence of the Lambs.
            So there are Leftists and Christians opposing my spreading this message and they collaborate in this treason work against the truth. They are all the ‘false christs’ announced by Jesus.
            4. Suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead and buried: He descended into hell:
            5. The third day he rose again from the dead:
            6. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty:
            7. From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead:
            10. The forgiveness of sins:
            You have selective understanding and selectiviely ignore stuff! You just recite your church-book there but don’t listen when Jesus said “Don’t follow anyone coming in my name in the Apocalypse because they are not me.”
            Jesus said that all Christians would be corrupted in the end times and to just turn from them. HE said ot not me.
            It’s not rocket science. Everybody knows that eveyrbody’ll be doomed in the Apocalypse. Only 144 000 will be saved and the Bible says those are tho ones who ‘drop what they’re doing and run’. They’ll drop the plough in the field and run. They’ll see something on the first floor of the house but won’t go fetch it but will run out of the house; that’s al lwritten in Desolation of Abomination announcing the second of the Apocalypse.
            You’ll have to drop your Christianity to look at the Second Coming straight in the face and annnounce it to the world. You’ll not have even a second to think about it.
          • ICYMI58
            @King of Shambhala,
            Let me comfort you…from 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18:
            “16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
            Christians will rise in the clouds with Jesus, the Jew, and with those who were dead. Jesus was never a “Christian”, Christians are those who follow Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior. Jesus was the mortal man when He walked the Earth, He is present with us now as Christ in a spiritual form through the Holy Spirit.
            Now back to the topic at hand. I like Trump, he’s imperfect as the rest of us are. He can and does poke fun at himself, yet he can be serious, down-to-earth, intelligent, and snarky. But one thing I would like to point out, he is never the first to “sling mud”, he waits for it to be slung at him first, then he responds in kind. I like that he stands up for himself. As a candidate, one knows there is no one that is 100% in your corner covering 100% of your back, the only one that can do that is themself. Good on him for doing it! :grin:
            That’s a heavenly miracle and it represents the order come from heaven. It’s what the Bible prophecied.
            I’ve sent links saying one in eight people (over 50 million people worldwide) are polled say Obama’s most certainly the Antichrist. That’s not chaos, that’s the Voice of The People.
            I say Christians won’t get to heaven in the Apocalypse.
            You Christians all know that. That’s why people fear the Apocalypse. What else is new? Nothing new under the sun in that. Christians all know they’ll be doomed in the Apocalypse because it’s been taught to them over and over for centuries. Nothing new there.
            No chaos there. It’s Jesus HIMSELF who said Christians would be doomed (just like everybody else) in the Apocalypse. People will pay for their sins.
  • The Steady Drip
    Professor David Parker, Professor of New Testament Textual Criticism and Paleography at the University of Birmingham, thinks that 616, although less memorable than 666, is the original. He said: “This is an example of gematria, where numbers are based on the numerical values of letters in people’s names. Early Christians would use numbers to hide the identity of people who they were attacking: 616 refers to the Emperor Caligula.”
    The Book of Revelation is traditionally considered to be written by John, a disciple of Jesus; it identifies 666 as the mark of the Antichrist. In America, the fundamentalist Christian right often use the number in sermons about the coming Apocalypse.
    They and satanists responded coolly to the new “Revelation”. Peter Gilmore, High Priest of the Church of Satan, based in New York, said: “By using 666 we’re using something that the Christians fear. Mind you, if they do switch to 616
    • King of Shambhala
      You’re standing in the way of the heavenly revelation wished by Jesus, Sam.
      Just sayin.
      Wikipedia says this about 666:
      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number_of_the_Beast#Mark_of_the_Beast
      The Number of the Beast (Greek: Ἀριθμὸς τοῦ θηρίου, Arithmos tou Thēriou) is a term in the Book of Revelation, of the New Testament, that is associated with the Beast of Revelation in chapter 13.[1] In most manuscripts of the New Testament and in English translations of the Bible, the number of the beast is 666. In critical editions of the Greek text, such as the Novum Testamentum Graece, it is noted that 616 is a variant.[2]
      616 is a variant.
      Sam, you’re an active supporter of Obama and actively protecting the Antichrist Obama aka Satan-in-Person by now saying 666 is not the real Mark of the Beast.
      Practically no one supports your theory of 616.
    There seem to be several people here who have an interest in religion and the scriptures. It is also obvious that training in that field is absent.
    Literally Misunderstanding the Scriptures
    Dear Editor,
    Re: The lady who attempts to understand the Bible literally.
    Understanding the scriptures is difficult. It is more difficult if one attempts to force literal meaning into non-literal material. The Bible was not written by Western literalists. It was written by ancient middle-eastern poets and prophets, who explained their world very differently than we do. Modern literal interpretation is a very clumsy and ineffective tool for understanding ancient symbolic material.
    For instance:
    Much like Native American names, Hebrew names have more significant meanings than would appear on the surface. In Hebrew Eve means – “shows life” – “revealer of life”. In addition to being the name of an individual man, Adam also means – humankind – the entire species.
    Here is a non-literal look at the Eden myth: In living life, all humankind is misled by what life shows us (Eve shows us the fruit). When the experience of life tricks us into thinking that we want or need something which lies outside ourselves (“it was pleasant to the eyes” i.e. it pleased our senses) we are tempted. The instant we accept the falsehood that our good exists somewhere outside ourselves (bite into the fruit) we become exiles from Eden. For the Kingdom of Heaven is within, not without.
    To us, the literal meaning offered by modern fundamentalism misses the inspired deeper meaning embedded in the ancient allegory. Literalism shrinks the meaning. Or, to quote C. S. Lewis, “Your God is too small.”
      SAM…
      Huh, if you talking about the frenchie – he only uses the scriptures to try to SEDUCE the ‘audience’ to see things HIS WAY. Since he’s a buddhist(?) it seems that last time around (prior to this recent re-incarnation and he’s said so in one of his comments many months back), he was sent DIRECTLY TO HELL and that this time around (even if he really couldn’t give a rat’s derrière for christians, gays, blacks, reds, yellows, or pink with yellow polka dots), HE’S DESPERATE TO ZAP INTO HEAVEN WITHOUT HAVING TO BELIEVE IN SOME DEITY.
      Personally I do believe in God (and some of the rest of his entourage) but I WOULD NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SELL MY SOUL TO THAT EFFING FRENCHIE…
    To be frank, this doesn’t sound like it was written by someone in a high IQ society and your evidence is not very convincing. A perfect score on the SAT is only 160 SD 15, and even those admitted to the best schools don’t average a perfect score. There is no evidence his IQ is anywhere near 156 SD 15 (which is the scale WAIS uses) let alone higher. Obviously what he has achieved in his life is remarkable and something that takes drive and intelligence, but lets not go crazy.
    What high IQ society do you belong to?
  • GTS888
    You write, “Donald Trump graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1968, with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and anthropology. Mensa doesn’t accept SAT scores from after 1994. However Mr Trump was a student at Wharton when it was possible to derive an accurate IQ core from known SAT scores. Given the usual requirements for admission to a top school like Wharton, I estimate that Mr. Trump has a 156 IQ at the minimum.”
    His admission to Wharton is a not an accurate way to assess his IQ. He came from money. If you think that background plays no role in admissions, you are wrong. Also, when I was a student in the 1970s, the average SAT score at Harvard was 1200, a score that is a little less than two standard deviations above the mean, as the SD on the SAT is around 110. The average person entering Harvard would have had an IQ of about 125-130. There are lots of factors in admissions. Not everyone who goes to an elite school is brilliant. Also, Wharton would not have been more selective than Harvard.
    Listen to Trump speak. IQ is a measure of abstract intelligence. Abstract intelligence is reflected in a person’s word selection, and the person’s sentence construction. Donald Trump uses the same trite expressions over and over. In the debates, it is clear that he doesn’t have a command of policy nor its implications. An intelligent person could speak with a greater degree of articulateness, and make more sense than Mr. Trump does.
    You are way-off on his IQ estimate. I think it is between 115-120.
    P.S. I am in the Colloquy Society, for people with IQs 140 or above. They require test scores to prove IQ.
    The speculative article ends with, ” Lord knows we have tried enough of the other kind of leader.” That’s not speculation, and I speculate having Trump as President would be entertaining, based on his history in the entertainment business. I kinda doubt radical Islam wants Trump elected President. If he gets elected President and is half as smart at the good psychotherapist soothsayer claims, he will parrot Ross Perot and leave Islam the hell alone, and let its divided factions roil around in the huge giant sucking vacuum sound of America having taken all of its toys and gone home, until the divided in Allah they all trust factions kill each other off and – viola! – Trump’s genius is proven when he is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
  • Schadenfreude\\\'s Cat
    So what I took from this is that the writer 1) didn’t hear what his professor said, and 2) suspended all reason when describing a self actualized person as Mr. Trump.
    Steady Drip, you deftly and clearly wove your support for The Donald into your editorial. First, you listened, but didn;t hear your college prof’s statement “people are what they do”. Trump is a panderer and a dangerous one. A self-actualized person wouldn’t go there to win an election. Bernie Sanders doesn’t, has his own moral compass, is an outsider, and is interested in helping his fellow man taking the most unpopular path through US politics. Altruism is far more self actualized than pandering for power. Others who’ve pandered for power are Caesar, Napoleon and Hitler – all considered anit-christs.
    I have no issue with your description of a self-actualized person (which can be cut-n-pasted from Wikipedia), but you succumbed to your own dizzying logic. Trump is not described fully by the traits of self-actualized people. He comes close and he certainly doesn’t meet all those criteria (which a real self actualizing person does). Trump’s comments are so conflictory that it’s impossible to think that he identifies with all mankind or treats people equitably. Did he identify with all the people he put out of work in Atlantic City? Did he try to make any amends for them? No. Will he over pay a secretary of chauffeur? Absolutely. These people know all his dirty little secrets so they get hush money. That doesn’t mean that he sees them as equals – merely tools. Again, see BernieSanders for a lesson in egalitarianism.
    So please stop with the empty Trump support. The article was more clever than smart and even more…lacking in wisdom. You remember “wisdom?” That’s a true trait of a self-actualized person and is the sum of Maslow’s traits. Doen;t confuse it with the ability to lead a nation as large as the US. You’re own professing of intelligence clearly means you identify with Sr. Trump. If you’re as smart as you think you are you’d have kept your tacit approval of a perceived racist out of your clinical analysis.
    • The Steady Drip
      I amd significantly smarter than Trump.
  • Fred99999
    A guy with a super rich daddy managed to transfer into an ivy league school a half century ago (and hasn’t stopped bragging about it) therefore he must be a genius, even though he acts and speaks like an elementary school drop out? That doesn’t logically follow. If only the real world worked that way!
  • geaaronson
    This article is way off base on facts and figures. An IQ of 156, to begin with, if it puts one in the top 99.99% of the population,here’s the math. If this were true then Donald would have an IQ that puts him 1 out of 10,000 people. There are 300 million people in the USA. Wharton has over 4,000 students. With a cut off at 156, it would run out of candidates long before the end of the first decade.
    Let’s work the math. 4,000 students with an IQ of 156 and above, multiple that to 10,000 and you come up with the sample population of 200 million people. After a year and a half, Wharton would no longer have candidates at that IQ level.
    Considering that the majority of the people with that IQ are not business inclined but interested in physics, mathematics, information technologies and chemistry, we evince an even shorter run to the school.
  • Obama is Lying to America
    :idea: You ppl are so brainwashed by the system you still think any running candidate would be good for office.
    An interesting read.. And so to All good friends, onward to the nines.
    and speaking of dropping names: titles denote but what’s in a brain? haha
  • DominikMJ
    This article was very poorly researched. He only took classes of the Wharton school – he didn’t graduated there – that means far lesser requirements (and I cannot really believe, that you have got to have a IQ higher than 156 to join this school…). That would mean, all students there are geniuses.
    I feel a bit concerned, that someone who does psychology doesn’t see the traits out of language, content, even common knowledge (not even speaking of common sense). The reflection of a specific personality trait, is also quite naïve (and half of the points aren’t really applying on Trump).
    I would love to see Trump doing an IQ test – and having an IQ of below 80 (I would expect him to have definitely below 100).
    By the way – if you are researching adequately, Trump isn’t even a so successful businessman – with 4 big bankruptcies, which weren’t even circumstantial. And his net worth seems to be also far lower than what he usually brags.
  • LeftIsRight
    That article is just an opinion: it says so. Trump may indeed be intelligent enough to be in Mensa, but intelligence does not equal smarts. He is not smart enough to be president. If he gets elected, I can wholeheartedly assure you that there will at least be an attempt on his life, even if it doesn’t succeed.
    Mensa only lists names of members to other members. I belong to Mensa, and I see no proof that Trump does, too.
  • Daffers
    Dearest Donald,
    There is a discussion occurring regarding your IQ. That it is on a vbery high scale – well, that’s nice! However, I fully believe that what is coming from your heart is 1000 times more important than any IQ evaluation.
    Unfortunately many people hear you, but they are not truly listening! Vivre la difference! Many people believe you are racist because you condemn the majority of migrants who have their own agenda- ie infliltrating the west and imposiing their so called Muslim ideals on us by whatever means – mostly by raping and pillaging their wasy through first Europe and trying now to carry out their evil intent in America.
    Please do not lose sight of the true immigrants who are terrified for themselves, their children who are so afraid they have had to leave their homeland and seek succour from our countries. Having done some research, I have heard the fathers and mothers of these families say that their desire is to go back and rebuild – but until Isis is overcome they have no chance. We must look after these people until they can fulfill that wish.
    What is happening in Europe is that as Merkel stated “welcome one and all” – it is not rocket science to recognise the difference between the real immigrants who have their families with them and who are prepared to assimilate into the societies who have with true compassion welcomed them, and the millions of younger men on their own who run in packs infiltrating, distupting and demanding that the countries/societies who have accepted them conform to their dubious standards. Those are the people who should be summarily rejected and deported back to their countries of origin before they are let loose on the people who have absolutely NO SAY WHATSOEVER in what is happening in their countries. One can say well, they voted these governments in, but – hey – these days, all governments do as they are told, by Europe, or the UN whatever.
    And, dear Donald that has brought us back to you! I believe you are not making a clear enough statement or differentiating between true immigrants who really need our help and those others who, with the help of those unbelievable government officials with their politically correct (INCORRECT): ATTITUDES, EG WHEN GANG RAPE, TERRIFYING WOMEN GOING ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS IN THEIR COUNTRY AS THEY ALWAYS HAVE BEEN, AND GANG ATTACKS ON CITIZENS/ CHILDREN GOING TO SCHOOL IS CARRIED OUT BY THOSE WHO SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ADMITTED TO ANY WESTERN SOCIETY/COUNTRY. Dearest, you are right, but please differentiate so that your followers, and those who want to depose you, can clearly see the difference between racism and common sense. We need you – I am not American, but you are our closes ally and without you we are all lost. x
    Why is it the most highly educated of them are the most stupidest? And the funny part is they all come from your most highly esteemed institutions of learning.
    Like Harvard, Yale, Princeton, etc. Look at all of the morons up there destroying this country and world are all from your proud institutions.
    Just because you learn Greek history and Latin does not give you the right to show how stupid you are on the world’s stage.
    Maybe you want another Greek tragedy to show the world but do it in your own living room.
  • Anonymous
    I’m sure his intelligence is above average, but this is jus bizarre. You are basing the entire article on your ESTIMATE of what his SAT scores are based on what you say Wharton probably maybe kinda requires.
    I know more than one person who go into Wharton with a lower SAT score than I had. And while my score would qualify for MEnsa..it was sure as hell not in the 99.99+ percentile. It was about 99.8
  • Ketutar
    Funny.
    Firstly, he didn’t go to Wharton through the usual application which means he doesn’t necessarily fulfill the application requirements. Also, he didn’t graduate from Wharton. He graduated from Pennsylvania.
    Secondly, Donald Trump has said himself that the honors, status, rewards, popularity, prestige and “love of others” are VERY important to him.
    If he doesn’t care about people’s ethnicity, political belief, religion etc. he has said all those things about Mexicans, black people, Muslims etc. etc. to get approval, and that is minding other people’s opinion. If he doesn’t care about what other people think of him, he would have expressed his true, genuine thoughts. Either way, he doesn’t fulfill the requirements of your list of self-actualizers.
    People who identify with all of mankind don’t make racist jokes, don’t “grab them by the pussy”, don’t make fun of a handicapped person, accuse people of crimes even after they have been proven innocent, or any of the other things Donald Trump has said – or given his approval to be said under his name.
    He is damn eager to “prove” he’s better than everyone else, challenging people right and left. He comes across as a pompous egotist with no what so ever traits of empathy or consideration of anyone but himself.
    So, by this article, I assume YOU are a Republican and think very highly of Trump.
    You believe authority makes you right, and people should believe you because “I belong to one of those high IQ societies, and I am a psychotherapist”.
    That tells me that you think high IQ really makes you smarter than people with lower IQ, even when we know about the weaknesses of the IQ method. Maybe you are just ignoring that because you think that defines you and if you didn’t make it to “one of those high IQ societies”, you would feel stupid. (I could have joined Mensa when I was 11, but it felt stupid. Being a member of “one of those high IQ societies” has no purpose what so ever. It’s just a bunch of people who like to think they are more intelligent than the rest of the society. Meaning that they do not identify with all the mankind for five cents. :-D )
    Because you think Trump fits your list of “qualities of self-actualizing people”, it’s obvious you are ignoring quite a lot of things he has actually done and said, what he has been saying and doing through his life.
    I also assume that you think Barack Obama is not “a genius with self actualized traits”, which makes your assessment worth nothing.
    I have no problems to believe Trump is intelligent. All US Presidents have been more intelligent than the general audience. Most politicians and successful businessmen are. But making him a “rebel genius” with strong ethical sense is putting him on a pedestal, making an idol of him, and idol worship is what cults are made of.
  • whome099
    Trump joined Wharton in his junior year. He never passed the freshman entrance requirements. Likely a large check was involved. His speech and vocabulary indicate a much lesser level of education with minimal literature exposure on any topic.
