After Attacks No One Wants To Help The Refugees

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

After hundreds were either killed and wounded in Paris no one wants to help the Syrian refugees anyone and that includes a lot of governor’s across the United States.

On Sunday, authorities revealed at least one of the Paris terrorists entered Europe with the refugees. According to CNN, he falsely identified himself as a Syrian named Ahmad al Muhammad and was allowed to enter in early October.

With that information in hand several governors came out and told President Obama they will not allow Syrian refugees into their state.

Alabama

Alabama’s Governor Robert Bentley (R) said he will not allow any Syrian refugees into his state. He connected refugees to potential terror threats.

Bentley said:

After full consideration of this weekend’s attacks of terror on innocent citizens in Paris, I will oppose any attempt to relocate Syrian refugees to Alabama through the U.S. Refugee Admissions program.

As your Governor, I will not stand complicit to a policy that places the citizens of Alabama in harms way.

Michigan

Michigan Governor Rick Snyder (R) rejected allowing refugees in his state as well.

Snyder said:

Michigan is a welcoming state and we are proud of our rich history of immigration. But our first priority is protecting the safety of our residents.

Louisiana

Syrian refugees were relocated to the state last week. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal (R) complained about it to the President. He said the federal government did not inform his government about the refugees being relocated to his state before they did it.

Jindal said:

It is irresponsible and severely disconcerting to place individuals, who may have ties to ISIS, to a state without the state’s knowledge or involvement.

He also suggested the President hold off on taking in more refugees.

Florida

Some Syrian refugees were dropped off in Miami as well. We are still awaiting a response from Governor Scott.
