Only 11 Days To Pull This Off... Please Help!

Dear Marriage Supporter,

Friends — The entire NOM staff is working long days getting ready for the 2016 March for Marriage, which is only eleven days away. I’m proud of every one of us for the effort that is being put forth dealing with all the preparations for a major event like this. It will be difficult, but we’ll get the job done (with the help of some great volunteers).

I hope that you will do your part by arranging your schedule to attend the March on Saturday, June 25th. We need every supporter of traditional marriage to come to the nation’s capital to protest the illegitimate ruling of the Supreme Court redefining marriage, and to also protest President Obama’s outrageous and illegal actions to redefine gender.

As hard as we are working to get ready for the March, there’s something that we can’t do on our own — we can’t pay for it. We are still $17,500 short of what we need to raise to cover the costs, and I have to confess that’s a big worry.

If not, will you consider making an immediate contribution of $35, $50, $100, $250 or even $500 to help cover the costs of the March for Marriage? If God has blessed you with greater resources, perhaps you could give $1,000, $2,500 or even $5,000. Whatever amount is right for you, please act today.

Our model for the March for Marriage is, of course, the March for Life, which has grown over the years to be the largest annual event in Washington, DC. But, it wasn’t always this way. The initial few Marches were small as the pro-life community grieved the loss of Roe v Wade and struggled to rebuild. Similarly, many Americans grieve the loss of marriage in the Obergefell decision and they, too, are wondering how to express their grief. Thus, the 2016 March for Marriage is critical to show the majority of Americans who continue to believe that marriage is as God created it — the union of one man and one woman — that resistance is strong and that the marriage movement remains vital.

So I am asking you to make a sacrifice for marriage in two important ways:

1. Please do everything you can to attend the March for Marriage on Saturday, June 25th. Drive, take the train, or fly to Washington, DC to be with us to serve as a beacon of hope for the tens of millions of Americans whose votes for marriage were stolen by a narrow majority of the Supreme Court, whose decision to redefine marriage in the law defies legal precedent, human nature and sacred commands.
2. Please make an immediate financial contribution of $25, $50, $100, $500 or $1,000 or more to help cover the costs of this critical event.

With less than two weeks left before the critically-important 2016 March for Marriage, we need all hands on deck. I am counting on your help.
