(Before It's News)

How can you mend a baseball broken heart?

Once again, the Rangers dropped a first round series against Toronto.    In 2015, I thought that Toronto had a better team.    In 2016, I felt with good reason that the Rangers had a better team, i.e. 95 wins and best record in the AL.

At the same time, no excuses.    Hamels, Darvish and Lewis did not pitch well.   The hitters left too many men on base.

It all came down to an extra inning loss in game 3.    Matt Bush was fantastic in relief but a bad throw to first cost the game.

The Rangers will be back in 2017.   They have a great core of young players and should be a strong challenger for the AL West crown again.

Nevertheless, this one really hurt!
