A Kiss Of Death No More

Once upon a time, an endorsement by the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) would be the kiss of death to any political candidate. Sadly, that is no longer true, as hillary not only has such endorsement, but has the CPUSA calling on its activists to come out in force to bring about a landslide for clinton.

The party is not just pushing for a win, though, it’s looking for a landslide over Donald Trump that will permit the Democrats to take the House and Senate, too, according to the latest reports at the CPUSA website.

“The polls are frightening in light of the white supremacist forces in top leadership of the Trump campaign,” says one report on the site. “How to move voters? The biggest challenge is making voters aware of where the candidates stand on issues that affect their lives like jobs, wages, Social Security, pay equity, immigration reform, voting rights, student debt, indeed, all democratic rights at stake, and then turning out a massive vote. Now is the time to put everything we’ve got into this election struggle in a way that carries on after it’s over.”

I hope that the communists’ words are just that, so much hot air. However, I have to think that we as a nation are in the wrong to allow the existence of political parties whose stated purpose is to destroy our Constitution and our nation. I understand that because of our Supreme Court’s so called  Communist Cases, such is seen as free speech these days. But I think the Court was wrong, and that normalizing communism is as evil as normalizing fascism or radical islam. Such belief systems wish to destroy us, and we entertain them at our peril.
