It’s not the million man march, nor is it the million amigo march. It’s the one-millionth door march of sorts for the Americans for Prosperity chapter in Florida. According to the grassroots organization, they become the “first grassroots organization ever to canvass one million doors in one state within a year.”
Pretty impressive, to say the least. I am quite sure that the likes of ACORN or MoveON.org haven’t even come close to accomplishing this feat.
“Thousands of Floridians have embraced our mission to create a freer, more prosperous society because of AFP-FL’s dedicated and passionate volunteers who spend countless hours connecting with them face-to-face. It’s the personal conversations our volunteers have with voters that makes all the difference.
“As we approach our one millionth door knock, we attribute to them the billions in tax dollars saved and the defeat of many harmful, overbearing regulations. The drive of our volunteers will set us on pace to reach millions more and create a better community for Florida families and entrepreneurs.”- AFP-FL state director, Chris Hudson.
According to his “mobile office,” AFP-FL’s Communications Director, Andres ” El Luchador” Malave has delayed at local Colombian arepa food truck, and could not be reached for comment.
Meanwhile, the group continues taking a pound of flesh out of Democratic senatorial candidate Rep. Patrick Murphy, as continues to try to unseat AFP-favored Senator Marco Rubio (R).
