While South Florida wasn’t directly hit by Hurricane Matthew, many residents across Florida have lost power and continue to lose their power. Their wallets were also hit when price gouging affected many Floridians who even had to pay up to $9.99 per gallon of gas and other important items such as food. Though price gouging is illegal during a declared state of emergency, there were still areas that were affected by it. Posted below is the power outage information for Floridians, and more information will be provided as it develops.
