(Before It's News)

Michael Bloomberg is a progressive authoritarian who is probably best known nowadays for his fanatical jihad against the Second Amendment. As Mayor of New York, he took petty tyranny to cartoonish extremes; his other jihads have targeted cigarettes, salt, trans fats, soda, soup, food donations, baby formula, escalators, earbuds, Styrofoam, sparklers, and even soda drinking in Mexico. See Gizmodo for more things Bloomberg unnecessarily banned. The political strategy that allowed him to take power in New York entailed switching from the Democratic to the Republican Party. Afterward, he renounced membership in the GOP. Does that remind you of any other New Yorkers?

Speaking of Trump, here is The Donald praising his local prototype Bloomberg, and griping that he was eventually forced out of office by term limits:

Unsurprisingly, considering that he has reversed himself within the past year on virtually everything, Trump now says he likes term limits — for Congress, anyway. But if he won’t except the election results when the election hasn’t even happened yet, imagine how hard it would be to pry him out of the White House. The 22nd Amendment could be in for as rough a ride as the First.

On tips from James Beckham (#1 GBeck Fan) and Torcer.
