Tonight's Debate

First question: Hillary’s voice much louder than Trump’s. Anderson Cooper goes after Trump re: the 2005 video. Hillary says he is not fit for the office. Isn’t she married to a man who sexually assaults women? Trump: That was locker room talk I am not proud of. They were words. Bill Clinton sexually assaulted many women. Words versus actions.

Second question. Trump goes after Hillary. “You’d be in jail!” Hillary: Fact check him! Trump goes after Hillary on deleting 33,000 emails. Trump doing well tonight so far.

Third question: Obamacare. Hillary wants to save what works. Trump: Obamacare will never work. We have to repeal it and replace it. We want competition. Hillary wants single payer (government control).

Fourth question: Islamophobia. Trump: There is a problem. Muslims have to report problems when they see them. He says the words: radical Islamic terror. Hillary intends to defeat ISIS.

Raditz: what about the Muslim ban? Trump: Hillary wants to increase 550% more refugees from Syria. Hillary: what Trump says is used by ISIS to recruit. Trump: I understand the border, she doesn’t.

Raditz: Okay to be two-faced? Hillary: I had just seen the movie about Lincoln. Our intelligence community says the Russians are hacking us to influence the outcome of the election. Donald should release all of his tax returns. Trump: she got caught in a total lie. Now she is blaming the lie on Honest Abe.

Next question: What tax changes would you make? Trump: Get rid of carried interest, lower taxes, bring the tax rate down. Hillary will raise your taxes. GDP now 1% in America.

Trump put her on defensive.

Syria. Hillary: catastrophic! We need leverage with Russia. Trump: Obama draws the line in the sand. The world laughs. She talks tough, but look at what she did in Libya. Look at Russia, Iran. You don’t even know who the rebels are! She, Kerry, and Obama made Iran rich very quickly. Radditz interrupts Trump repeatedly. He ignores her. Radditz turns to Hillary. She would not use ground troops in Syria. Special Forces, trainers, enablers (what Obama is doing). Hillary would target al-Baghdadi and she would consider arming the Kurds.

Question: devoted to all Americans? Trump: I would be a president for all Americans. Inner cities are disastrous. She has been talking for 25 years. She is all talk. Hillary: I have a deep devotion. His rallies are violent! No, Hillary, your supporters are the instigators of violence at Trump rallies. Trump: increase in violence. She has tremendous hatred (irredeemable deplorables).

Supreme Court. Hillary wants to overturn Citizens United. Stick with Roe v. Wade. Trump: we have a vacancy. I picked twenty possibilities. Respect the Constitution, Second Amendment. She made 250 million while in office; why not put some of that into your own campaign?

Energy policy: Trump: Energy under siege by Obama administration. We have found tremendous wealth right under our feet. Hillary wants to remain energy independent.

Name one positive thing you respect in one another. Hillary respects his children
Nothing else. Trump: she doesn’t quit. I respect that she fights hard and doesn’t give up.

Trump did much better tonight than he did in the first debate.
