I hear most of “the men who know everything” (talk radio) saying they don’t have a clue who is going to win the presidential election. Their reticence to call a winner may be motivated by a superstitious desire to “not jinx it”.

Maybe they harbor some ill feeling that Donald Trump gives them, or maybe even the combination of voter-fraud (Why do dead people always vote Democrat?) and a Republican candidate who can’t get his ego out of the way long enough to focus on the issues which got him where he is.

Every major issue the voters care about, favors Donald Trump (reasonably or not) but he’s mired in attacking the rigged system which (undoubtedly tipped in favor of Democrats) makes him look pathetic and weak.

If he could focus on the task at hand and ignore the snares set before him by his opponents, he would win handily. By harnessing the discontent of the 73% of Americans who think we’re on the wrong track as a nation, he could inspire people to believe that the system can be changed (however false this hope is).

Donald Trump is a filthy philandering husband and questionable businessman, but Hillary Clinton is an inveterate liar with a track record of being spiteful, arrogant, and corrupt-to-the-very-core of who she is. Even her own base doesn’t trust her. If DJT could’ve stayed on point, he’d be in the lead in every poll in America. Instead, he has people across the nation questioning if he even really wants the job.

If Hillary wins, we face the spectre of 4-8 more years of failed Obama policy on steroids – and possibly the eventual dissolution of all that we were hoping to hold onto. If Donald wins, we face the possibility of much of the same and as I’ve said many times, the possibility of having a rubber stamp congress serving at the pleasure of a tyrannical, vindictive authoritarian President Trump.

Hillary will most certainly escalate our tit-for-tat with Russia and exercise unconstitutional unilateral executive authority, while Trump promises to violate all manner of international agreement and operate as a rogue with his own pen-and-phone.

If one wins, the other’s fanatics will lose their shit. Aggregate the coming unrest with the professional agitation from leftists (seeking to destroy what’s left our country) and an economy on the verge of coming unglued and the prognosis for America is grim. No matter who wins on November 8th, I’m prepared to say with relative certainty, that on Friday, January 20th, America loses.
