An Acceptable Loss

(Before It's News)

New Hampshire Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte was unseated election night by the state’s Democratic Gov. Maggie Hassan. Blaze Article

As much as I hate to see the loss of a Republican seat in the Senate, Ayotte is as much a conservative as Sen. Susan Collins.

Ayotte, as I recall, ran as a Tea Party conservative. Heck, I even remember her interview on Mark Levin’s radio show; following which he supported her.

Unfortunately, as soon as Ayotte was seated, she flipped, and immediately became a solid Republican vote for nearly everything the Democrats wanted to get past the Senate.

So, if someone had to lose, she isn’t much of a loss. And perhaps her example might be a lesson to future candidates who lie about being Tea Party conservatives.
