Your son, Sgt.John Perry, has been killed in Afghanistan during a homicide bombing at Bagram Air Force base.

Your son was getting ready for a 5K run to benefit disabled servicemen. He sees a homicide bomber, He acts to move people out of the way, confronts the bomber and is killed. Two others die in the blast, and seventeen others are wounded.

You and you grieving family are traveling from CO to an airbase in Dover, DE to meet your son’s body. You travel by air. There is a connecting flight to Phoenix, AZ, which is running 45 minutes late. When the plane finally lands, the plane’s captain makes an announcement asking everyone to let a special military family off first to catch their next flight.

Following the plane Captain’s announcement, this is what you hear:

Several passengers in first class began to boo and complain, Perry said.

“Some people were saying ‘This is just baloney,’ and ‘I paid for first-class for this?’ ” RecordNet

Nice. Apparently First class is really low class. Disgusting.
